Basically Telstra will take any device for trade in. even if its damaged and not in the list. Time to trade in a dud phone i guess.

Eligible service required. Credit applied by second month. Trade-in powered by Kingfisher.

For reference Galaxy Z Flip4 128 GB is $62.45 on 24 month plan.

You will need a plan as Credit will be applied "credit to your bill within two billing cycles, or onto your bank account or credit or debit card for your AutoPay arrangement with us within 30 days, if you’re on one of our upfront mobile or data plans."

    So you are pretty much getting $400 knocked off the new decide value.

    You might be able to get that off from Samsung education or epp store. Understandably that's not for everyone but education access is one of the most common ones.

              @mrearthpig: Pretty sure with JB they have mobile extra, which is pretty much the same as Samsung Care+. They have discount it for 99$ for 24 months plan, I think you should go with it. The free Samsung Care+ is long gone

              @mrearthpig: It was for orders directly with Samsung. You can purchase it from a Samsung store for half price now I believe.

    Edit. No actually this is okay.

    62.45×24 less 400 = x
    Then for example you are currently paying a prepaid service says 15/m then means x less 15x24
    Remaining is around $740 for a fold?
    I am missing something here?

    Just assume you have broken phone to trade which doesn't really add to the cost

    so flip 4 128GB outright price is 1099 after $400 bonus credit, same as Samsung edu store and JB hi-fi pre order after trade in bonus, and they did have memory upgrade before.

        there was a post but somehow not many upvotes, I think people are waiting for a bigger trade in bonus like 300-500 down the track. I had to buy it for a bday gift but got it down to $994 (with $50 code) so it was a tolerable price in the end

      They said 400 "bonus" credit, so even when your phone is value at 1$ you still earn 401$ total discount.

    Trying to figure out the allure of this folding-type phone, exactly? I really would like to know what the uses are? Is it for watching YT or gaming? I mean, I remember people saying the Mi Max 2 was too large.

      If you have to be convinced, it's probably not for you.

      I switched back after using the Fold 2 mainly as it needed to be babied everywhere. Was too delicate and Case options are horrible.

      I also hardly ever opened it.

      there were deals here for free Tafe courses so I signed up and did one of those…
      Had to do like 8 quizzes (prob 40-1hr each) but I suppose I learnt (retained) at least a tiny bit so it was ok in the end…!

          If you don't have a NSW address, I just searched tafe in the search bar here and there's a few deals for other states that still seem to be active

          *edit ah yes I didn't realise these are on campus courses, not sure about other states but if you are eligible for 'jobtrainer' theres a bunch more for free and online
