Crazy Woolworths Order Limits

Well I seem to always hit a limit of one sort or another these days - but today was a doozy. I got the message at online checkout:

"These items have exceeded their COMBINED limit of 3. Please update and continue"

Huggies Nappy Pants Boy - 1 unit
Huggies Nappy Pants Girl - 1 unit
Mandarine Tangold Seedless - 2 units

I reduced the mandarine to only 1 unit and bingo the order was accepted. What is the connection between Nappies and Mandarines? Has Woolies lost their mind?

    • no they dont

If you only have boys they do.

Save the environment and use cloth nappies

    • -1

You picked the wrong crowd, too many environment hating breeders in these forums.

      • i would have thought the majority of ozbargainers were cutting edge, environmentally concious, climate change concerned consumers? what gives?

        • What gives? Their wallets, usually in the wrong direction buying multiples of things they never needed but had to have because it was a bargain too good to pass up.

What's the difference between the girl and boy nappies. Do girl babies have big butts or something, or boy babies hang dong enough to need more room on the front?

    • +3

Baby boys wee more in the front while girls wee lower in the diaper. So a unisex diaper for boys would be more prone to leaks cuz the front might be soaked (but might be pretty dry further back)

So gendered nappies don't have enough absorbent stuff in certain areas of the nappy? Might be better off buying unisex nappies which will have good absorbency at the front and bottom of the nappy.

  • Just go to store and checkout multiple times

That's hilariously bizarre. Definitely some weird error, but I'm sorry for your mandarine loss OP

The mandarine arrived today - it looked lonely - I felt melancholy.
