Joseph Joseph Index Steel Cover Chopping Board Set (Regular, Grey) $29.99 + Delivery (Free w/Kogan First) @ Kogan

141

Kogan have a special price on this Joseph Joseph chopping board set now only $29.99 which is the cheapest on the market that I could find. Useful set for avoid cross contamination of uncooked foods when preparing a meal. I think cheap no name copies are around $30 so for this price seems pretty good. Grey is particularly nice to hide stains too.

Deal only available until Thursday 7:59am.

It’s not steel so why say steel chopping board.

    • +2

It is as much steel as this deal is a steal

    • Index Steel Chopping Board Set, basically they interpret the cover is steel made.

Steel cover. Who would want a steel chopping board?

      • +1

        Someone with a plastic knife.

        • I’m getting an image of you working in a prison kitchen.

    • Steel cover. You skipped an entire word.

If only I can edit my comment like there were edits to the post.

  • Who is KGN?

  • The video doesn’t even show the correct chopping board. In the video it totally different size (this one is a lot smaller)

  • Features Red for Raw Meat, Light Blue for Raw Fish, Light Green for Vegetables, White for Cooked Food, Fingerprint-proof & Non-slip Feet

    lolwut

    • For all those carni-top-of-the-food-chain-im-basically-a-lion people who will die if raw meat touches their veggies.

      • +1

It is to prevent cross contamination lol, so you don't chop a salad on the board you cut raw chicken so you don't get salmonella.

        • Yep, that's what I said.

      • i mean the chopping board in the pictures are not even colour coded

  • i forgot how but i have kogan first for free until end of the year. and some deals are great

Sorry, we can't find the page you're looking for.

I don't know why these are needed tbh. I'm a butcher by trade and we use chopping blocks all the time, same colour (white)…. sure these are for raw meats but people just have to take notice of what they're doing and use their brain to avoid cross-contemination. Chop veges first, slice/prepare meat to be cooked, wash. Save ya bloody money!

      use their brain

Here is the flaw in your logic

  • I never understand these supposedly high quality plastic chopping boards.

Bamboo boards feel better, look better, less noisy. Also bamboo inhibits bacterial growth.

I can understand plastic boards for commercial kitchen from a price standpoint but these are not cheap.

The above seem better value in colour with knifes

    • +1

Over 50% more expensive with one "free" knife. How is that better value?

  • Despite the 50m of black plastic cling wrap it was packaged in, it has arrived damaged. The corner of the stand is smashed. I've reached out for a replacement.

    • Hope they replace it without hassle. Happened to me with a ladder I bought. They sent me a whole new ladder and told me to keep the very slightly damaged one. Was still fine to use just a minor dent

      • Same thing here. Surprisingly good service.

        • Haha nice one!
