$4/month or nothing. That's how much I pay with circles life today.

    I'll settle with having 30gb/month

    • Hi pls share how to get this offer..i can manage with 30gb too

      • Deal was posted on ozbargain

    • I'm paying $8 for 48gb + 2gb.

Mine expires soon though, circles don't really do any deals for existing members so I'll be hopping on a few starter kits until kogan or circles do a deal

  • Not a great deal, considering you will lose one credit check.

    • What do you mean?

    • This is a post paid service so of course they will do a credit check. Its not necessarily a bad thing assuming you have good credit. I just looked at my experian/equifax scores for around the time i signed up and there was no change.

      • You're correct, Matt! Thanks for that! This is part of our process when applying for a line. Credit checks are done to verify a customer's ability to make monthly bill payments when applying for services. We'd love to give our future customers more information about this so please click this link for more information: https://circlesaustraliasupport.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/article…

    Some notes about circles

    • They are a postpaid service, not prepaid. You will have a credit check done on your file.
    • When porting out, remember they are postpaid and provide your account number to the new provider vs the requirements of prepaid
    • If you're not tech savvy, they are light on customer service so maybe not the provider for you
    • The sign up process can be clunky, this is what you get for what you pay. Be at peace with that.
    • What you mean by the porting out part?

I've been with Telstra via a JB hi-fi deal for a couple of years now where I got a new phone for signing up to a $69/month deal. I then managed to squeeze $10/month port in discount and some sort of new customer $10/month discount. So have been paying $49/month for the last 2 or so years. Today I received a SMS from Telstra saying my discounts were ending next month. So my bill is jumping to $69/month. Screw that. I'm going to jump ship to another provider while my current phone still works well enough. Then most likely take up another jbhifi Telstra deal when the time is right.

Just curious as what you meant by the port out problem you mentioned. I would hate that to ruin my chances of getting back over to Telstra

      • Hi mate! When porting out just ensure that your current number is kept active until the port-in to the other telco is successfully completed. Once transferred, your account will automatically be terminated with us. You will need to provide them with your Circles.Life account number to proceed. • Shame they don’t do data only. Looking for something I can use as mobile broadband on the Optus network.
