Recommendations Plz: To find a reasonable Accomodation in Gold Coast OR for Entry to Theme Parks :A family of 2 Adults + 4 Kids

Will really appreciate if someone could help me find any better ways to get access to theme park for a family consisting of 2 Adults and 4 Kids (under 12).
Also if there are any good options to book our family's accomodation in Gold Coast.. that can offer a great value for a family of 6.

It is going to be somewhere around first week of December, later this year.

Thank you heapssssssss…

  • NRMA has access to discounted tickets

eg; 3 Day Theme Park Pass over 5 Days

3 days unlimited entry to Warner Bros. Movie World, Sea World & Wet'n'Wild over 5 consecutive days from first visit.

    $143.10

Also, I recall something about if you stay at Sea World Hotel, you get unlimited entry to that park and discounted entry to the others

Yep, we did that deal in December last year (only 2A, 1C though). I think you have to pay a little more for that package over standard rates.

Sea World resort itself is not great and a bit dated, but I doubt anything else will get close to the value it will offer with the free theme park entry. Kids splash/play area seemed pretty decent as well actually, which would be good for 4 kids in December.

Like the park at the moment, half the rides arent working or have been decommissioned.

What research have you done for yourself?

Clearly none….. the question of 'cheap' theme park tickets has been asked to death in recent times.

  • I did have a look at earlier oz bargain links but that promotion seems to have ended on 4th sep.

    • Have you tried booking.com ?

  • In terms of accommodation there’s so many variables here. If you don’t have a car I’d stay in Broadbeach or near Southport Broadwater parklands near the tram where you can also access other fun things for the kids. If you have a car you could stay a little way from the beach and it would be more affordable. I think SeaWorld also does some reasonable accommodation deals with kids. This website has heaps of info on activities for kids in the GC, aimed at locals but good info to have when you’re not at the major attractions https://www.mrslardeedah.com/

Will get you $20 off the 3 day pass ($139), generally the best deal you can get.

As mentioned above Sea World Resort can be a good value option.
