  • I assume this would be for Premium, as opposed to Premium Plus which is the ad-free tier.

This will probably what most services will end up looking like the way Netflix and Disney+ are.

Peacock is a US Received the email Today!. Most of the Peacock content is free anyway.

    OP, R U OK?

  • Why redeem when I can open my fly and get it for free?

Just what everyone needs… ANOTHER half-baked subscription service…

    • +1

Yep. They specifically mention The Office in the description of all their tiers! So they basically have nothing else worthwhile

  • Do they accept Australian credit cards, or is it similar to Amazon Prime, where the card must have a US address for the cardholder ?

  • Dunno if its just me but i had Peacock a while back and it stopped working with VPN. Maybe check that your VPN works before splurging on this deal :)

It is working for me( Peacock with vpn) I used US itunes to subscribe. But cannot use this deal using every cards possible from AUS.

If you are trying to access it from mobile, your phone has to be in Flight mode. I think they use mobile network to check geo-location.

    • But cannot use this deal using every cards possible from AUS.

I see. So, it is similar to Amazon & they require a card with a US address.

I'm curious about the payment method that OP used when signing up.

An option I can think of is US Unlocked (https://www.usunlocked.com/) but it is quite expensive to load their virtual cards (USD 4.60 fees for a USD50 load), and they require a minimum load of USD 50, which they then whittle away every month with a USD 3.5 maintenance fee. So, not really worth signing up for, just to take advantage of this deal.

Or if you can access an USA number signup for USA paypal and use it that way. Peacock accepts PayPal.

Or use USA number to signup on privacy.com

I tried buying visa egiftcard but it gets cancelled everytime( I tried buying from Walmart).

Annual subscription for $19.99 USD makes it quite compelling given Peacock broadcast approximately 175 EPL games live and the remainder on delay. Considerably cheaper than Optus Sports.

  • has anyone been successful in paying for this in aus?
