I get excited seeing Free on the title. Damn, it's not. 😞

    • Leathermans certainly aren't free. Far from it.

      • are they worth the money tho? all the time?

I guess that's subjective. But they are beautifully engineered and built tools and all have a no questions asked lifetime warranty. So I think you could definitely argue that they're worth the money. I probably couldn't bring myself to pay RRP but prices like these are very fair, IMO.

@wombat81: Looks like the warranty is 25 years on these. I know I'd lose it well before 25 years if I was using one regularly enough to need the warranty

            • @OzBragain: It says 25 years but there are lots of stories of them replacing even very old tools.

        • I still have the first one I got in the early 90s. Use it several times a week. I've only ever sharpened it.

a knife deal on R U OK day?

    • Relax snowflake

you went from -10 votes to even, noice!

  • It's a shame their Charge TTi and MUT aren't competitively priced as I would've pulled the trigger immediately.

    • Imo go for skeletool CX or RX depending if you need straight blade or serrated. The blade isn't long enough for half serrated to make sense. 2.5cm see.rated and 2.5 not serrated

      • I think the Skeletool combi blade makes sense despite the blade length, though i guess it depends on what you normally use it for.

        • Yeah I have the combo blade on my Wingman and have no complaints.

  • reviews i've seen for this knife aren't great but it's such a promising design?
