SAVE 30% OFF RUBBERWOOD FINISHES – RUBBERWOOD30 APPLIES AUTOMATICALLY AT THE CART
A premium 2 leg electric height adjustable standing desk. Enjoy the features of our popular Professional Series lifting system with your choice of solid teak, walnut or rubberwood desktop.

Was just about to buy a bamboo Desky with usual $100 email coupon, but saw Zen Desk have superior rubberwood for similar price minus 30% coupon. Doesn't combine with Zen Desks $100 coupon.
Still probably over priced, but reviews suggest it's worth it.

If you don’t need 180cm size.
Go lazymasions I personally suggest, much much more bang for your buck.

    • shame they don't do 180cm

    • I’m literally putting together a Lazy Maisons frame today as I got my desk top yesterday. I got the 2 stage, dual motor frame ($326 w/ eBay plus). The top I got is from Chairforce in Melbourne, 180x80x3cm in rubberwood ($269 + delivery, https://chairforce.com.au/product/rectangle-rafael-timber-ta… ).

My wife got a bamboo Zen Space Desk earlier this year (around $800) and I put it together. It’s very good. Seems like the Lazy Maisons frame is a bit different (still very solid with what looks like 3mm steel), but yet to see how different they are in performance.

Depends on your height. I bought a lazymaisons for the wife, as it only goes to 113cm. Zen Desk (and Omnidesk and a few others) go to 125cm-127cm. Makes a huge difference for us tall people.

    $720 for a desk… No thanks.
I just adjust my chair higher.

Woah there buddy, be careful with that sort of logic around here on the cheapskate bargain forum or you'll get downvoted 🤣

Does your chair make you stand up after a certain height? And then once you are higher (as in standing up), how does adjusting your chair bring your desk up to your height?

      • I don’t think a chair has ever made me stand up

        • Silverhawks just raises his abs he is standing apparently. No need for a standing desk

          • @onlinepred: Haha I don’t even know wtf is going on anymore but thanks for the imagine of someone raising their abs

  • Bought one of the Zen desks (dual motor) and it's got a pretty annoying wobble to it, but I suspect that's going to be the case for most sit-stand desks.

    • My updown desk is pretty solid

      • Interesting. Is it a Zen desk? No wobble at all, or just minimal?

        • Zen desk Pro dual motor. No wobble. Maybe try putting carpet under the legs

    • I'm finding that mine will go up, then stop as if its caught on something (when it isn't), have to press the up button a few times. Slightly annoying.

  • How's the cable management on this desk?

Most other companies after a cable management channel add on for like an extra $50 but these guys don't seem to but don't mention cable management otherwise either.

  • Their rubberwood desktops are also 30% off if anyone is interested: https://www.zenspacedesks.com.au/product/rubberwood-desktop/

I bought the grey legs (no desk top) and dual monitor arm for nearly $1200 from these guys back in 2016. Really don't like the grey finish and still regret it every day I look at it lol. I'm actually tempted to get on this deal just to get rid of the grey. Would also recommend going 2x single monitor arms rather than a dual one if you run different size screens or 1 screen in portrait mode to allow for better positioning.

  • I have just put a Desky together and from the images the controller look identical. Are they just rebranded of the same thing?

I've read that Zen desk, Desky, omni desk are same/similar.

      • Probably just resellers from the same ODM. So whatever gives the best deal at the time.
