    Anyone actually tried it?

    *just read the reviews on Dan Murphys. Nothing amazing, does the job. At $55 minus 25% for a single malt is a good price. $65 is the usual base price.

    Slight hints of peat. I'm not a fan of peaty whiskeys. So will give it a miss.
    I'll go the Loch Lomond 12yo blend for $39.

      Not really peaty at all

      It was my go to supermarket cheap single malt when I was living in London.

        The LL single malt mentions peat, but the blend has no mention of it. The reviews say no evidence of peat either. Im an Aberlour kind of guy.

      Cardhu is basically a single malt label for Johnnie Walker these days, and Cardhu goes into the JW blends. Personally I find it great, it's never going to be mindblowing though because it's simply such a common taste. It's really not very peaty.

      Loch Lomond isn't the 12yo either, you got me excited there for a minute!

    They just sent me a message saying they're out of stock. Either can swap for Monkey Shoulder (lol) or cancel order.

    I said neither was good enough and to send it when it's back in stock.

    They replied saying they have no ETA for restock and only options are as above.
