  • I want one and two seconds ago I didn’t know what it was!

They have literally changed the way that I ride, being able to easily get on and off a bike, and drop the seat whenever I stop or reach a downhill part is amazing

  • Any deals on externally routed ones? My bike doesn't have internal routing, and my current giant dropper is toast.

    • My giant was an externally routed as well but I managed to put the cable through the bottom bracket and up through the tubing up to the front end. Wasn't too tricky

      • But where does the cable exit out of the frame unless you drill a hole?

        • Usually there's an opening just below where your crack sits. Just check on your bike.

          • @tor: Where the water drains out of the frame from down tube and seat tube? Mine is only 2 to 3 mm in diameter wide.

    • id be keen for an external one as well. my bike is designed for an extrnal dropper but has a standard seat post at the moment. @ORBO any chance of includig this in the deal?

        • Does external dropper include remote and cable? Can I buy in store?

          • @7jf: Did you get a response from the OP ORBO regarding the lever and cable 7jf ?
Why doesn't it say on the website, and if it is an added extra I can't find them on the site.

@whitey: No I don't get their response by far, took my risk ordered one and will find out when I pick up :)

              • @7jf: Cheers, thanks for letting me know so quickly. I'll give them a call tomorrow to find out.

Edit: I've just sent them a message, I'll report back here to let others know if nobody else does in the meanwhile.

                • @whitey: Good on you mate. Hopefully all included - selling only the post and customer has to buy a remote doesn't make sense at all.

                  • +1

@7jf: Remote lever and cable is included.

                    • @whitey: Good news, thanks whitey.

                      • @7jf: My dropper post has arrived today!! . Very good service and speedy delivery. I'll fit it over the weekend and give it a thorough testing, if anyone is interested in my findings let me know and I'll report back.

      • Did you answer 7jf's question regarding if the dropper includes the remote lever and cable??
I can see that you have given 3 identical links to the same external dropper post but it doesn't say if the cable and lever are included.
Couldn't you just answer the question on here rather than linking to a page that doesn't have that info?

C'mon man. I can get a whole Big W bike for that price.

    • +3

I'd rather this dropper post and no bike at all 🤣

      • +1

I bought a Big W bike once and it went just like a rocket - it fell apart in stages :) .

  • Any 27.2 seatpost size options?
