    Proraso stuff is really good. I've enjoyed their pre-shave cream for over 15 years….and was disappointed when they changed the size of their large option from 500ml to 300ml. Oh well. But around $30 for the 300ml is a good price (down from $39.80 as is currently shown on their website).

    Oil wood and spice or Azur Lime for the beard oil?

      I've got both and love them equally. The azur lime is a more cologne smell, where as the the wood and spice is more of something that I think would pair well with a night in front of a fire.

    Proraso has great shaving cream/soap but the large bristle brush is a disappointment

          Give it time.
          Boar brushes take a bit of time to wear in.
          Soak it overnight to give it a bite more wear on it.

    I had a real negative experience with Barber House and vey reluctant to order with them again… placed an order, no update, no response to numerous emails, no return of voicemail..no order received!

    Only fortunate thing was that I paid with PayPal and they refunded me.

      Surprised to hear that and sorry that you've had a negative experience. I've placed numerous orders with them. Whilst the experiences haven't always been great, my takeaway is that it's a small business - very few staff maybe even a 1 man show, one time they upsized my order to make up for late shipping. I've placed an order for proraso and always get my hair gel from them, always order in advance to take into account the delayed shipping which is what I've experienced. But when I email and follow up they do respond. I usually have no patience for delayed shippers and poor service but these guys won me over. Their prices are very competitive when on sale.

      Maybe the OP can shed some light and try to fix your experience? @WFA1234 maybe give shockme a coupon for future use and secure a customer for life?

        I appreciate your response, I had placed at least a couple of orders in the past that were fine… That’s what made my last experience so disappointing.

            shock states - "no response to numerous emails, no return of voicemail" - thats a number of chances to respond - but now with the world watching you want to "correct the experience".

            You had your chance mate….dont just fix it now. Be better in the first place!

              @flashi007: While I have no reason to doubt Shockme79, it's one side of a story. Even the rep has no knowledge of what happened until they receive an order number. There's nothing stopping any of us to write an embellished negative experience or one that didn't happen at all. Again, not suggesting that is happening in this case (I don't know), but a bit unfair of you to call out a company for coming in and trying to resolve a suggested issue when you have no knowledge of it at all.

                @Festy: All fair comments. Have a good look through the previous posts from this seller. There have been multiple issues before. I’m sure they’re all sorted now. I got caught short when they were upgrading their system. It wasn’t the first and only time my products were delayed.

      Thanks to @WFA1234 for contacting me and his effort to fix my negative experience. True customer service and not just an empty gesture. I now look forward to placing my next order with Barber House.

    It looks like Barber House's standard price has increased by 22-29% for some Proraso products in the last 2.5 months, so the discounted price right now is actually much higher than back in June EOFY sales.

    Proraso Green Tea Oatmeal Shaving Cream Tube: was $12.99 discounted to $10.39, now $15.90 discounted to $11.93.

    Proraso Green Tea Oatmeal Shaving Cream Bowl: was $9.95 discounted to $7.96, now $12.85 discounted to $9.64.

    That is not to say that it is not a good deal for this time right now, because I can't seem to find better at the moment with a quick check.
