AEG 18V 2.0Ah FORCE Battery $69 (Original $119) in-Store @ Bunnings

140

I've just found that the AEG 18V 2.0AH FORCE batteries for $69 down from $119, not sure when will the price change :)

The AEG 18V 2.0Ah FORCE Battery is ideal for smaller, one-handed tools like the ones in the Sub-Compact range. It’s also great when working overhead or outstretched, or when you don’t need the extended runtime of a larger, heavier battery. Even with its compact size and light weight, this FORCE battery packs more power than a standard 2.0Ah lithium battery.

It has internal features like robust cell housing and improved cell spacing that is designed to protect it from overheating and over-current. The built-in fuel gauge indicates how much charge is left

Bunnings page appears to be taken down, but still visible on Vu's Stock Checker

  • Good price. but still haven't get any AEG tools yet

    • They are pretty good. From what I have compared better then ryobi.
I have purchased all mine on clearance so paid very good prices for what i get.

      • Ryobi, AEG and Milwaukee are all made in the same factory. Battery packs are part of the product differences. Ryobi use a cheaper cell in their battery packs to AEG.

Last i looked (a few years back) both AEG and Milwaukee battery cells are top tier lithiums. One used Samsung 20R, then 25R, one used Sony VTC4, and then VTC5.

I picked one up, they were not marked as discounted on the shelf but came up as $69 when I asked them to check.

You can actually hear the difference in drill speed when you use one of these compared to the normal 2ah batteries.

They are not a true bargain as they are only half the price of the force 4ah, but still good value but still worth it if you don't need the extra runtime of the higher capacity batteries.

    I think this might be better https://www.bunnings.com.au/aeg-18v-3-piece-4-0ah-force-batt…. 3 x 4ah batteries. Each ~$75

    • These are out of stock Australia wide. I Saw this on the AEG tools page on FB and when I went to my local to ask they said tney can't get any more in.

    • I bought these from Carseldine a couple of weeks ago. Think they had at least one left then..

Edit: Seems to be out of stock there.
