It's suck due to the price hike but Sony has the best exclusive on any platform for my taste. Lucky I bought 5 when it was launched 2 years ago.
For the price tag, you’d think they throw in another controller or a second game. Then again, why would they? The PS5 keeps flying off shelves and seems to outdo the Xbox Series consoles in sales figures.
Why do you, as a consumer, care how many plastic boxes are sold? How does a stranger purchasing the same/different box than you, actually impact you? Comments like yours are always so weird…
This is not a deal, paying $50 more for a console that is now cheaper for them to make and charging RRP on a game that you can now buy for less than RRP. This is a way to force extra revenue by only giving you the option to buy the bundle and not console only. This is an example of a company being Anti-Consumer.
Most people that wanted a PS5 has one, the scalping is pretty much over, we are going to see supply and demand balance, we will see these being able to be bought of the shelf soon. If you have waited this long, I wouldn't buy this bundle out of principle. I guarantee they will try to offload these bundles first before the next mass shipment of console only PS5's. They have been gearing up for xmas this year, believe me when I say they will want to put PS5's into as many hands as they can. The big console only shipments are coming!

Scalpers haven't really been able to scalp for a while now. You'll find people still scalping would have a much harder time trying to sell and turn any profit that is worth the effort.

Yeah I've noticed on marketplace it's less an issue. Though scammers are still very prevalent.
@scuderiarmani: They still out there for sure but they aint selling them very easily or at all and especially not for $1000 or over. They can try but the desperate people to pay that aren't around anymore.

It's not that people aren't keen anymore. Supply and Demand is balancing out.
Majority of people who wanted one have one. The other smaller portion of people probably don't want to pay extra for this bundle.
I really hope by the time GTA VI is released and I finally have an actual need to buy a PS5, this bollocks has died down.

Because in the US the Xbox is competitive, everywhere else in the world the ps5 is outselling the Xbox. Sony see what people are paying for scalpers, so they want some of that $$$

I don't play games so i read the comments because I'm trying to buy a PlayStation or xbox for my brother, however i notice there's alway these strange comments comparing sales numbers between the xbox and PlayStation and i always wonder what compels someone to compare sales, especially as a consumer.
Wait until you see the Xbox sale threads, not a single soul here has said Xbox is better than PS5 but you have people here saying PS5 is better than Xbox in a PS5 deal, you also get Xbox sucks, Xbox has no games, PS5 is better guranteed on every single Xbox deal.

Everyone wants validation I guess. I admit I prefer PS over Xbox but used to buy both consoles until the current gen. Its a bit too pricey now to have both.
why it better? i got xbox and the only reason i would want ps is if SF6 was ps exclusive which its not… so xbox is fine for me.
It's interesting how times have changed for me. Never thought I'd get back into PC gaming after going all-in on the PS4.
Also thought I'd bide my time since I'm not desperate for a PS5, but didn't expect to end up letting my PS+ subscription lapse after 10+ years. Haven't bought a PS4 game since Ghost of Tsushima either.
PC gaming is the future honestly, we're gonna get all PS4/5 exclusives and Xbox exclusives the only thing to miss on are Switch, which I have so I don't miss out on anything really.
PC can emulate switch pretty much perfectly these days.

With Sony finally waking up to smell the roses and porting previously Playstation-exclusives to PC, I think this might actually be a thing of the past. I mean, timed exclusives maybe, or at least that's what I'm hoping for.

Sure the console has increased by $50 but the game has been priced around $50-$70 consistently lately and the bundle is digital download not even physical. These bundles shouldn't have really changed in price from the $845.

I would pre order it from JB.. EBgames charges high prices so I don't know why people are complaining.. I never buy from EB unless it's something exclusive to them or out of stock everywhere else..
EB provide specialised game store service. EB service applies to customers who need to buy a gaming product with absolutely zero knowledge of what they are doing… or…game fanatics that like to stand and chat to store staff for 3 hours straight about all things gaming and their Level 5 carrot obsession.

Many advantages for EB Games are:
- You can trade your pre-owned systems to them (If you have Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, PS4, etc).
- You can trade your pre-owned games to them.im not sure if you've ever been to EB… but the EB checkout boys and girls know nothing. More than half the stuff ive attempted to preorder from EB were cancelled or preorder bonus ran out of stock. and generally i just get attitude from them, they act as if they're gods gift to gaming.

This doesnt work. The digital is sold out, and the ps5 horizon bundle says transaction error when paying. tried multiple cards from different banks.

Just did, same message "Transaction Failed, please try again or use a different payment method" but it only offers one payment method, and that's a debit/credit card. Bizarre. Any other ideas?
EBgames payment system seems to be faulty and rejecting some peoples payment method. Try using a completely different payment card from a different bank or credit company. This faulty system could also be reason as to why the item is still available after such a reasonable long time period as some are being unfairly rejected from buying.

@konggiaday: I've tried 3 different browsers, Commonwealth card, NAB card, Ubank card, even travel cards! cleared cache. I don't know what's going on but at this point its safe to assume the payment processor is completely broken.

agreed. it looks great, its totally cross-gen and not next-gen though. but they really dropped the ball on making the narrative fun, as compared to the first. sylens was wasted, the tribal stuff was wasted, and the spaceshield freaks & faro stuff was boring slash ludicrous. way too much repetition, and not enough new ideas. lost interest well before the end.
