Yes and it's simple, nylon looks shit.
Makes 0 difference to functionality. If you wear shoes and rest on the wheelbase as most of us would do, the aluminum will look like scuffed trash a year down the track.

These are great. Have had mine for about 2 years as my WFH chair. I can work 12 hour days in this chair and feel good. End up with a bad back after 8 hours in the rubbish chairs in the office.
The shape of the seat looks so curved/convex, doesnt that hurt the butt?
Got this chair and its been great so far! The mesh is a bit sticky when its fresh out of the box but this fades over the time and it becomes such an amazing ergonomic chair to work from!
How does this compare to the cheaper Steelcase chairs?
We have two of these and while they are ok, we'll replace them in future with something else. Might be a length issue but we find that the levels of adjustment offered are never quite right. You're either sitting too far forward, or too far back. Good build quality and I love the mesh that keeps you nice and cool. Perhaps just go to a shop and have a sit in one before you pull the trigger.
Anyone know how this chair compares to the ergotune supreme?
I'd also like to know the difference between this and Ergohuman V2 Elite. Looks like just a differently shaped back?

i think these chairs used (as in Used) to be ok. When they had 10 years of warrenty.
cause ive had one for awhile. Same things break. Well often. user be ware. may not be worth without a significant extended warrenty.
