    I think I just had a faulty unit. Just about every time I turn it on it flashes as if it's stuck in descaling mode. Works fine after a factory reset, but I had to do that just about every time I wanted to make a coffee.

    Their customer service is also pretty bad, but they're just going to send me a straight replacement so not a bad outcome, even if a bit of runaround.

      The flashing is the system warming up - that should take 15 seconds usually. Is that the flashing your describing, or does it stay stuck in flashing mode endlessly?

        3 flashes, followed by a pause. Endless loop of that.

        The warming up flashes are just regular flashes and stop after about 30 seconds.

    Haha, had a Nespresso machine die after a month because I changed the WiFi SSID. It wouldn't work anymore even after I changed it back. Nespresso wouldn't honour warranty because changing SSID is considered user error.

  i;ve got the same machine, it really great. Except for the fact you can't fit a full sized mug without removing the drip tray.

      The Inissia machine drip tray can flip up without needing to remove the tray
      Slightly better design but seems more expensive

    Yep. I hold mine at an angle to fit under.

    Otherwise, it makes good coffees. I think I got mine for like ~$120 with 100 free pods about 3-4 years ago and it hasn't missed a beat since. Probably done about 2-3000 coffees through it.
