      My bad then. I didnt relise they started charging for the upgrade. All the other games were free upgrades so i assumed it was still the case.

    The payouts are much much better. You can easily get tens of millions just by getting Gold on Circuit Experience.
    As for microtransactions, no one in their right mind would actually pay for credit when it is extremely easy to score credits in this game.

    I've platinum'd the game, unlocked everything, have every car, multiple engines and over 40mil credits to spare. The in game economy is fine now.
    The game is not without its bugs and flaws, but it's a good game and they are constantly fixing issues and dropping new content that doesn't require DLC or microtransaction purchase.
