What pillows do people recommend? I need to replace my current drool-soaked pillows.

    • I'd suggest no one can answer that question for you.

You know your preference, soft, medium, hard etc etc. If not just go to Harris Scarfe/Target/Big W or the like and pick out any on sale at any given time….

Maybe change them more often too :)
      Or get a pillow protector….

    • Memory foam pillows if you really need a supportive pillow of your neck,
      or
duck feather pillows, if you really need something that is soft & plush.

Pillows are highly personal, and no one can really give advice of what works,
because everyone sleeps differently, eg. on their sides, on their backs, some need a pillow between their legs, etc.

I've been using Dunlopillo OG which I thought was very similar to the Talalay Tontine pillow, not sure what's happened but they've gone up to about $60 each everywhere, and was able to get them for less than $40 not long ago

Not sure if due to age or due to using a more firm mattress I've had to go for a more firm pillow to not wake up with a sore neck

Would recommend one of the Dunlo / Talalay if you like the medium and softer feel, down feathers for the lowest level, and memory foam for the firmest / highest level.

    • I find this one to be pretty great. It's firm enough so that when I sleep on my side the pillow doesn't 'bounce' air back on my face, that bothers me with normal pillows lol

Am i just oblivious, or has no one else heard of this brand?

    • +6

Yeah I guess if you haven't left your house, moved out, gone on the internet, bought groceries, walked in a dept store… ever…. I could see how you could have not heard of this brand.

FYI, Apple isn't just a fruit.

      • Or, I simply haven't gone bedwear shopping online or instore?

Thanks for your amazing input though x

@scuderiarmani: Sweet, clearly I'm not looking.

            Thanks!

            • @ignited141: There is even a type of medical treatment named after the brand! "Tontine therapy"

    • +1

      Yeah just oblivious.

      Oblivious.

How do you NOT know Tontine?

It's like the quintessential Aussie brand for bedding.

    plus 7% cashback using cashrewards.

Probably better to sign up to their newsletter and get 15% off.

Most definitely is. I love mine

  • What's the general consensus on all round best pillow? I'm a side sleeper

50% off is heaps good but shipping (18 bucks) is a bit steep for me. They have free shipping for spending over $125 but I only need to buy 2 pillows…

  • excludes mattresses

Phew just bought the Memory Foam mattress from the other day.

  • Bought one of their mattress in a box. It's surprisingly good.

Credit to the OP and this is reluctant, but I'm actually gonna neg this.

I was close to purchasing the "Comfortech Temperature Regulating All Seasons Quilt", which would have been $86.98 inc shipping.
I looked around and found the same product for $59.99 shipped at Harris Scarfe.

Thanks for the efforts though, it made me look around for a good deal on a new quilt which I've needed for ages!!

    • Had a look for what I just bought, and you are right, it's nearly cheaper at the usual price elsewhere.
Luckily I used the sleep15 code too, so still saving a few $ overall.

    • Amazon seems to be price matching too

    • Wow I'm surprised you can get it cheaper at Harris Scarfe, always had the impression they were still pricey despite their "sales".

  • Tontine medium pillows are pretty sparse in my opinion.

  • Also 40% off for Myer One Members

also newsletter code gives 15% off which stacks.

  • Found a bunch of these 50% off on Amazon with free shipping also if anyone wants that and potentially easier returns.

  • It says 50% off sitewide but I just went to check the price of the mattress I bought a few days ago and it is still 40% off.

  • Use code SLEEP15 for an additional 15% off

    • I tried code sleep15 but doesnt work for me

      • Looks like theres a minimum spend.
