    can anyone with Brooks Ghost comment how it fares with this? I just really hate the base cause there's a large hollow arc

      I also always buy ghosts, can anyone recommend what is similar? Also normally need a wider shoes in other brands, are they more narrow like ASICS/nikes?

          Ghost glycerin (wider fit) but feel not much support. Have ASICS gel cumulus (wide fit) currently as I thought I’d give them a go but don’t like them at all. Have tried Pegasus’ on in store but way too narrow for my foot. Normally stick to brooks tbh as I normally buy online and don’t get opportunity to try in store. Any suggestions if you are also a ghost fan?

            @Madfrega: Why don't you like the ASICs? Do you feel they are a heavy shoe? I HATED the Brooks ghost shoe hahaha like hated it so much! Don't you find that you get random things stuck to your shoe much more? Even trail sand gets in

              @PeeDee: Haha oopsy! I don’t know what it is about the ASICS, I also feel not much support and think they are contributing to my knee pain. I like the ghosts as they are super spongy and quite thick on the heel (compared to asics anyway). I know what you mean by heavy but because I’m so used to it I don’t really notice it, but guessing that’s why I enjoy the support. The asics are also very tight on my foot even though I went with the wider size, although the ones I did try on in store were the previous model so maybe that’s why. Absolutely do not get stuff stuck in my shoes but I normally wear good socks for running not sure if that helps? Sorry I just realised I went back and forth with the two diff shoes but it’s late and I really can’t be bothered fixing!

                @Madfrega: I just read your comment about the arc, I have orthotics with a chunky arc as I am flat footed so maybe that’s another reason why the shoe suits me!

                    @PeeDee: Yep I got them custom made and use them for all shoes, I just take out the insert that comes in the shoe! I never wear shoes without them they are the best

    Apparently good shoes, but competition is tough now. Personally I'd prefer 1 pair of endorphin speed 3, Nike invincible, Nb more v3 (or 4), asics novablast 3 than 2 of these.
    If you have someone else to go in with you then maybe ok.
