I don't believe so, it diverts all connections to one of the outgoing USB ports, there's no shared ones.

I've never had issues when I've used it. That being said, nowadays I usually run with my phone so it doesn't really matter.

Yep, I run a Garmin HRM-Pro and it hasn't skipped a beat with it. I've also used a Tickr with it without issue.
