      • It's no longer an option unfortunately

  • Isn't this a bit early to Pre-Order? Still 8 months to go?

    Pre-ordering is for shmucks

Sir, this is a Zelda game.

      • Yeah, fair point.

  • I plan to move house before this comes out.
If I update my amazon address later, will this ship to the new one, or the current one?
(No way I'll remember to edit it if the latter)

    • +1

It will ship to whatever the address is when it is being prepared for shipping. You have until then to change shipping address and payment.

  • Look forward to Link’s massive adventure starting again when The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild

When TLOZ: Tears of the Kingdom what??

    • Just like the trailer it doesnt leave much detail

  • Controversial opinion: I'm actually not sold on this yet .. I need a longer trailer/preview because as it is it's the same map as BOTW with floating islands in the sky. Undoubtedly there's more to it than that, but that's all I've got so far from the teasers.

I was also quietly hoping this would launch with an update to the Switch hardware allowing for something approaching high res/60fps visuals. The art style is fantastic, but I can't help but wince when I go back to play Switch these days. ducks for cover

    • You obviously have no idea how much Nintendo treats Zelda.

It's one of their sacred titles they put a lot of resources to get it how they want.

Majority of Zelda Canon games to date have had high ratings.

The reason why so many people have not complained about the game not being released yet is they know Nintendo will make it great before they release it and after the large scale of BOTW with its open world they know this one will need more time to make it even better.

If you need a trailer to be sold on a main Zelda game then you are no true Zelda fan.

    • You can play through BOTW at 4k or Ultra Wide, > 60fps on PC with Cemu.

Hopefully Ryujinx will be able to do this for TOTK by launch date!

      • Out of curiosity can you play it on the steam deck?

The Legend of Zelda: You Just Got Skyf*^%#$

Hell yeah daddy tears of joy

  • Thanks, just pre-ordered. Looking forward to it.

  • +2

Pre ordered, so it doesn't take the money until dispatched? Cool. A reward for finishing my courses on time!

  • +1

I don't understand the praise for BOTW. Slow getting anywhere. No dungeons. Fighting is just plain frustrating (everything breaking).

OOT is superior but each to their own i guess…

    • +1

By what the leakers are suggesting it sounds like traditional dungeons are making a return plus the plot makes a lot of references to ocarina / time manipulation. Seems like they listened to the fans

      • That's good news. I will play it regardless because I am a Zelda fan. I just didn't like it because it wasn't really a Zelda game at all.

  • Any chance JB (or other retailer) will pricematch now on a pre-order?

  • +4

eShop leaked that the price in the US is US$70, might be best to jump on this now before the Direct tomorrow

    • +1

Our price seems to have remained the same. Sucks for those in the US I guess.

    • I PM'ed at JB for $74.99 after the Direct, and surprise it's dropped 99¢ 😟

  • Anyone know how to get a midnight release (physical) for highly anticipated games like this? Friend said some EBs have done it..

    • +1

You'll have to find a store that does midnight releases for games, which I don't think really exist anymore.

Your best option is to keep an eye out on EB Games social media to see if they will do a midnight release.
