Was looking to buy this at $139 yesterday from previous deal. Found it cheaper by $16 today. Yey procrastination. Not as good as the Cuckoo but it's also not $480. Weird that we can get this cheaper from a computer store in NZ than from our retailers.

You need water to cook rice, so cups are meant for measuring water but you use that to measure rice in volume.

I think you thought he made an error by eating wice rong, but it turns out he was just mistaken…
I have the aldi $59 rice cooker and it's a wonderful rice cooker. Cooks perfect rice every time including sushi rice which is the difficult rice to perfect.
Fun fact; despite rice being measured in “cups” it is generally eaten not drunk.
