So if its $199 at JB Hifi then how is $196 shipped from the US a bargain?
99% of people would pay for the convenience of saving $5 vs the risk of buying online, waiting time, warranty and getting a US model requiring an adaptor. Seriously?

Hey, to the credit of the OP - the deal with JB is over, it is now for $249.
I am not saying that this is a super deal, but probably not worth of so much negs.
I think the OP may have missed out on the JB deal and tried to find something similar.
      Let's not be too harsh…

  • Comes up as AUD$204.15 shipped for me.

For that price I'd definitely try to get a local product with local warranty and local power adapter.

I'd easy pay a 10% premium for local stock with local warranty and power supply!

Or better still 5% premium and buy at officeworks!

    • Or better yet, get Officeworks to pricematch one of the $199 sellers and get it for $189.05!

  • so you were just at JB but rather than buying for $199 right then and there you decided to pay 3 dollars less to have it shipped from the other side of the world?

    • I think the point is JB deal is marked as expired. But considering the other local alternatives for a bit more, does not make this deal appealing!

  • Add on the cost of a 240V compatible Power adapter and you're over the $199 comparison price, then factor in the "Value" of local warranty, getting it today instead of next week.
Nice try, but this isn't a Bargain in my books.

    • I would say not even close! haha

    • it doesn't need a 240v power adaptor. it's 120/240V 50/60Hz
It just needs a US->AU plug

  • Requires effort to buy at almost the same price.

just a few days ago, it was sold at $149.99 on Amazon. why dont the screaming people above use more brain instead of complaining!

      so where's the time machine?

    • +2

This deal was posted for $179.99 not $149.99.

  • Not a deal when it can be picked up locally for only a few dollars more. $199 with local warranty, or cheaper with pricematch at OW.

    MSY, Scorptec, Mwave and Umart.
