Sour Patch Kids Scuba Lollies 220g

Found a few clearance items. As usual, very limited stock but maybe worthwhile checking the site for a place near you, or just take a look in the lollies aisle if you happen to be in Big W. Hopefully one of the two sour lollies is available near you if you like these. FWIW both are available (kinda) near me.

Bonus Action Sports Climbing Wave $99 (save $120) for after, if your child eats the whole pack in one go. Feel free to post as it's post if you feel it is warranted.

Edit: Sorry for getting your hopes up guys/gals, looks like the price for the lollies maybe only in QLD selected stores.

Edit 2: Sour Patch Kids Berry Flavoured Lollies 220g $0.80 Thanks to PurrCharbel

Luckily for my dentist it is $4 near me

    • That's weird. Wonder why the price would be different.

      • $2.50 save $1.10 for the Allen's and $4 for the Sour Patch Kids.
Probably because clearance is localised. Might be QLD or selected stores only?

        • I checked different post codes to see how much stock was around and it seemed to stay the same price. I didn't check super carefully mind you.

Edit: Yeah, you have to save the store to see the price change. Sorry, does seem very limited then. I'll edit the post.

        • If you happen to be in Big W maybe just swing by the aisle and do a price check?

    • How does that make your dentist lucky?

  • How are the sour frogs? Any good?

    • Very rich frog, mild sour coating. Pretty good.

    • Yes, that one is showing as $0.80 for me in QLD too, but I don't see any stock.

I see some in Carnes Hill, NSW.

        • Not just QLD then. Thanks for that.

      • FWIW this one comes up as 80c for me (but still only stock at same store)

By the looks only the old size are clearance. New smaller 190g are the ones scanning at $4

Shrinkflation is the only answer. It shrinks in the water like a frightened turtle.

      • I googled sugar market prices since I was bored, it was higher in 2007 and 2010-11, these things are 90% sugar, wages aren't going up, they are just raising prices because they can, owned by the conglomerate Mondelez.

        • I don't doubt they're shrinking packs because they can, at least somewhat, but sugar price isn't the only factor in getting lollies onto a store shelf at a certain price point. The shipping/freight industry is stuffed, for example.
