  this is a decent mobo except the audio is a basic ALC 897.

  good enough power delivery phase even with i9, 6 layer PCB with good memory topology for memory OC, 4* M.2 slots, 2.5Gb lan, it packs just about everything you need.

  Though I think $269 is still a bit much, if only it was around $200 mark(im my dream).

      1. 12/13th gen is cross-compatible,
      2. DDR4 memory tracing won't get improved anymore (focus is on DDR5 RN),
      3. apparently there won't be much 13th gen DDR4 board

      with reasons above I doubt 12th gen D4 board would get much cheaper before 14th gen are out.

  i have the wifi version of this board and can recommend - about as cheap as you'll get for a z690 board and i have had zero issues.
