Believe you will need to use the new Bolt USB receiver for this. So might be inconvenient with MX keys.

Came here to say this - I recently bought a 3S and had to return it so I could use the same receiver as my MX keys.
Curious, why don't you use Bluetooth?
Is it because of laptop with very limited USB port? If desktop just one extra USB receiver.
Unifying receiver doesn't work on 3S and Keys together? 😳
