They used to make a coat version of this (thigh long), which is my favourite jacket! I wish they still made that version!

The new version of the coat has a flap over the zipper. Which i guess is an "upgrade" in the sense that it provides insulation over the zipper area. But totally ruins the aesthetic of the jacket, imho.

Strange that they still do the parka without the flap, but dont do the coat without the flap.

Annoyed I missed this deal, because even though I prefer coat length, I would have grabbed one for this price!
