The above sounds like you can only use those 3 payment methods if orders over $300

Visited Bec Hardy winery last week. Wine was good, food was top shelf.

Thanks for the kind words and for visiting. Glad you enjoyed! RD :-)

Wants 19$ shipping fee from me after applying the code.

    • Not sure why that would be. Other orders coming through ok. Cheers! RD :-)

      • rural areas?

        • +1

Free shipping Australia wide. No exceptions.
Not sure what to suggest but I can tell you others have got it to work.
          Cheers! RD

@RD ADL: Shows $19 for shipping for me to 3206

            • @x x: As I’ve said above, Free shipping Australia wide. No exceptions.
Not sure what to suggest but I can tell you 80+ others have got it to work.
              Cheers! RD :-)

              • +1

                @RD ADL: I figured it out - it's because you've got 2 codes BUDGETBUSTER and FREESHIP2022

                • -2

@x x: The only code you’ll need is the one in the offer - that code applies the discount. The freeship code is in the backend of Shopify linked to that product so everyone gets free shipping. RD :-)

                  • +1

@RD ADL: for some reason it was adding FREESHIP2022 which would remove the free shipping when combined with BUDGETBUSTER
I imagine this is what guy above was doing when saying they got charged $19 for shipping

                    • -3

@x x: @Hudcon I can't profess to know the full detail of how it works as it's one of the team that administers the backend. But once you click through for the deal, no discounts or free shipping are applied until you input BUDGETBUSTER. At that point Shopify automatically stacks BUDGETBUSTER with FREESHIP2022 to ensure everyone gets free shipping. I'm going to draw a line under the discussion here as I have a little 7 year old who wants to go and see the sights of Sydney. Cheers! RD :-)

                      • +2

@RD ADL: I'm just saying what's happening. Yes there's a glitch with Shopify. I'm just trying to help out, I also got better things to do. FYI I ordered once I removed the $19 shipping

                        • -3

@x x: Hi Hudcon. I’m happy to take one on the chin when we make a mistake or we have ‘a glitch’. On this occasion there is no glitch. There’ve now been 97 orders. 2 people have reported a problem. I really must move on. RD.

                          • -8

@RD ADL: They were just notifying you of an issue, but you act as though the issue doesn't exist because it doesn't happen to everyone.
You didn't even check if any orders had gone through with BUDGETBUSTER but without FREESHIP2022 to see how many people may have been impacted to offer them a remedy, because 'sorry, got a kid, go away'.

That's enough to make me pass on this. Wouldn't want the bottles to arrive broken due to poor packing, but be told that can't be possible because they didn't arrive broken for 97 other people, without even checking if that's the case.

As noted in the comment below, it's not even a good deal.

                            • @NobalaKoba: Thanks for your note.
I did indeed check both on my desktop and my phone where I have an app linked to the backend of the website. None have gone through without free shipping as the Freeship code is programmed to stack with the code above and has done on every single order.

There simply is no error or glitch either Bec or I can determine and the website is working fine for the very vast majority of users to my knowledge.

I provided a comprehensive explanation and really didn’t feel I could add anything with further commentary. It is a weekend, I am on a family holiday yet remain as accessible as I can be, including now.

As for if you did order and they turned up broken, we’d, of course, make that good. I’ve been posting here for long enough for people to vouch for that.

As for the deal, understand if you don’t think it’s value, others will have a different opinion.

My apologies if you took any of my comments as glib or inappropriate.

                              Cheers! RD

  • This deal has better selection of red wines?
    https://bechardy.com.au/collections/wine-shed-sale/products/…

    • I’m glad you think so. Do feel very welcome to swing away. Cheers! RD :-)

      • I just checked what wines are included and don't think it's worth an extra $50

        • It’s a pack that is there for those who want to buy the regular Wine Shed Sale wines before committing to volume.

The Wine Shed Sale and it’s forerunner have had a bit of a following of devotees over the last 12+ years.

The deal posted here is a specific one-off deal exclusive to OzBargain.

Hope the explanation helps. Cheers! RD :-)

  • ordered, thanks RD!

    • Love your work! Thanks RD :-)

  • Always great, ordered.

    • Thank you :-)

  • Thanks OP. First time ordering from you guys after seeing a lot of positive feedback from your previous deals.
No issues with the coupon. $8 per bottle delivered is the perfect budget for mid week wines.
    Cheers

    • Thanks @tool. Hope you enjoy! Cheers! RD :-)

  • Could be an iPhone issue. I tried and after selecting PayPal as payment me this $19 shipping fee applied.

Free ship token didn’t stack. One or the other worked.

Not asking op to fix but confirming some users might get $19 shipping depending on device or payment method selected.

    Enjoy

    • Thanks Ed. Just tried it on my iPhone, seemed to work perfectly. Will certainly have Christina run a few scenarios on Monday but it's not something I have been able to replicate this afternoon. Cheers! RD

      • I'm wondering if it's a postcode thing… worked fine for me to 5022

  • Awesome deal, thank you! Keep it up!!!

    • Thanks for the thumbs up and the order. RD :-)

  • Ordered of course. Took a couple of bottles of your wines to dinner with friends tonight and everyone enjoyed thank you. Cheers RD

    • Wonderful. Thanks @denlife for spreading the word! Eenjoy the rest of the weekend. Cheers! RD :-)

  • Good wines to be had. My dad once worked at Pertaringa with the family; reliable wines.

    • Thanks @meanderingfish. Who was your Dad out of interest? Richard :-)

      • My dad was Rod K.

        • Wonderful. A little before my time but Bec certainly remembers him. :-)

  • Well, ordered this from you guys. Looks like you guys use Aramex - missed delivery yesterday due to being in the office. So now the Aramex hell of trying to get a re-delivery begins. Worst courier company in Australia.

    • +1

Hi achyd1. If you are having an issue, please do email [email protected] and allow one of the team to pick up the issue for you. We use Aramex, Couriers Please and Australia Post depending on location. Betwen the three of them around 98% of deliveries go off without incident. However, sure occasionally there is a mishap or an inconvenient delivery. These can normally be resolved fairly easily.
Either please PM me (though I am travelling at the moment so not at my PC as often) or email Lisa at [email protected] and one of the team will pick up the matter for you and resolve.
Going forward if you have a preference for carrier or wish to leave specfic instruction (i.e. if you are in the office, is there a location it can be safely left, or if you wish us to use Australia Post etc) in respect of a missed delivery, then please feel very welcome to leave that in the delivery instructions section.
Don't worry, we will resolve. CHeers! RD :-)

  • Hi Rich - regular customer and I love your work. I just missed out on this deal. Anything you can do for me?

Fortunately in my area you use CouriersPlease but I noticed you also use Aramex. I'd encourage you guys to ditch them because they are truly a nightmare (bordering on a scam) for customers to deal with.

    • Hi Jigram.
I'm afraid not much I can do on this one as one of the wines has now sold out. However, there'll always be more deals coming.
As for couriers as we operate from a regional area in McLaren Vale and there are only a handful of options.
We use a combination of Couriers Please, Aramex and Australia Post. We ship around 30,000 items per year. Of those only around 1.3% encounter a problem.
Where problems are encountered we ask that customers contact us FIRST and not the courier company (whichever one it is) as we can often resolve withouth the frustration of trying to engage the courier company.
I'd encourage you to always request your preferred courier carrier on each order.
      Hope that helps.
      Richard :-)

      • Will keep an eye out.

CouriersPlease are amazing and I've never had a problem with them. I just encourage companies to not use Aramex as they are insanely difficult to deal with and ideally wouldn't be in business.

        • Thanks. Couriers please do carry about 90% of what we do.
There are a variety of constantly changing factors that influence our choice of carriers. In busy times for example we simply can’t use one carrier as one carrier alone doesn’t have the capacity to move the volumes we have from McLaren Vale.
Nor in franchised courier networks are service levels consistent. We had to cease using one courier in WA recently as all their drivers were poached by a rival network.
A few years ago, breakages with one network in VIC were ridiculously high so we had to cease them in that location for a time.
We’re always reviewing it to ensure the best customer experience we can.
          Cheers
          RD

Hi Jigram. I took another look at this this morning and remebered we have the Mourvedre at the same price point, so have replaced the SHiraz Temp with that wine and made the deal live again! Hope it's not too late for you to swing away if you wish! Richard :-)

      • Cheers Richard will jump on now!

  • Has anyone else not received theirs yet? Mine says stuck in transit since 29th Sept…

    • +1

Hi @locapez - Sounds like there might be an issue with yours. Please can you email [email protected] and Lisa/David will take a look at it for you. I'm about to board a plane or else I'd jump in myself. ALternatively, please give them a cal on 08 8383 2700 or use the LiveChat on www.bechardy.com.au where Christina will answer you
      DOn't worry we'll fix it :-)

      • Hi Richard, I’ve not yet received mine either - I’ve emailed the email you noted above earlier this week but not yet heard back. I’ll flick through another email now. Mine also shows stuck in transit - but it’s quite confusing to follow on the tracker. Thanks!

        • @newozbargainuser Apologies but I’ve not seen anything come through. Can you please PM me your order number and I’ll hop in and have a look now and email the team and cc you in first thing in the morning at the latest. Cheers RD :-)

          • @RD ADL: Thanks very much! I’ve messaged now.

            • +1

@Newozbargainuser: Just wanted to note here, Richard and his team followed up my minor delivery delay incredibly well - I’ve not come across customer service like this in a long time! Thanks very much again, I’ll definitely be recommending to friends.

              • @Newozbargainuser: Thanks very much for the kind words. Happy to help and fix things up. Cheers! Richard:-)

  • @RD ADL - any deals similar to this on the mixed red dozen?

    • +1

@rollin been waiting on a couple of new reds to bottle So will get one up next week. Thanks for the suggestion :-)

      • Thanks, ill keep an eye out
