Alogic rapid 2 Port USB-C & USB-A Laptop & Phone Car Charger. 45W Power Delivery & 12W Fast Charging. For laptops, tablets & phones.
I use this to charge a small USB-C laptop, and it works a treat.

    • This has 2 output ports (USB-A and USB-C), do both ports give the same output when charging? I ask because I have GPO chargers that also have both USB-C and USB-A ports ,but the USB-C port will show as 'superfast charging' on my phone, and the USB-A port will show slower as 'fast charging'

      • 12W USB-A + 45W USB-C

        • -2

so the USB-C port charges faster than the USB-A port? i.e. they are not the same?
Are there any chargers on TGGG that do the same output through both ports?

If you need a bit more juice, this is the one I use to charge my USB-C laptop in the car: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/726554

    • Is yours better than any of these 3x posted in OP? I don't know about output and wattage/voltage etc. Just want something that can rapid/superfast charge tablets, phones and laptops via a car ciggie lighter plug

      • +1

Build quality and reliability wise I'd say they are all about the same. I got the beefier Alogic one because it is able to charge the laptop, as it has up to 45W PD, whereas the maximum you'll get out of the biggest Belkin here is 25W, which will not do your lappy. Hope this helps.

        • Belkin ones only do 9V output

Alogic one support 12V/15V, but it’s not that simple because it has 12-24V inputs. Usually the 15V and probably the 12V only works with a 24V source.

Some laptops only work with the higher voltages PD, so it’s not that simple.

  • This have any adverse effect on car battery?

    • If your engine is running, your car battery isn't used at all. If your engine is off, it's no different to your car being a large power bank. Just make sure you have enough power to start the engine after.

Sweet, thanks OP. Purchased the 37W model as I’ve got a road trip from Melbourne to Sydney next month and this charger will easily keep all the occupants devices charged :)

  • Something wrong with the Amazon website or is it just from my end?

    • Just checked, is all fine here.

I am also getting more pricing then TGGC..

      37w shows $26 for me.

The point of the Amazon links is merely to conveniently view the product without having to log-in to your TGGC account, and also to get more product information and see reviews. TGGC price is of course lower, hehe.

I bloody love The Good Guys Commercial site. I’ve been looking up reviews for the Bissell Spotclean Turbo for car detailing. The Good Guys had it on sale for $350, compared to other sellers at $450. I was about to purchase when I decided to quickly check the Commercial website. It was on there for $280! Bargain.

Yeah man, it's awesome for some stuff. Really easy click-and-collect too.

100%. Even for little things like the Bissel cleaning solutions. $25 in store but $15 on the Commercial site.

  • How come doesn’t have sign up option?

    • Most people on OzBargain would have signed up via their superannuation rewards scheme. I use ART (formerly SunSuper).
