Deal is mainly for those in Sydney.
Last time I had my eyes on a deal like this it expired before I made my mind up. Thought I should post it to give others a chance because I might end up missing it myself.

Some things to consider

• Shipping for something this large and heavy will be expensive and kill the deal. I would only go for it if you are in Sydney can pick up from Redfern NSW and if it will fit in your car (measure dimensions inside with tape measure).
• Call ahead to confirm stock

Solid Wood table top. Thickness is not specified but their other solid wood table tops are 28mm thick. All sizes are $249 and 1800x700mm is the largest so best value, but you could go with their smaller 1200x800mm or 1200x700mm options for the same price it saves you from having to cut it and have wood go to waste.

Some of you might have your own tricks to get a decent timber table top for a lower price but as a dumb consumer this is just one I thought was decently priced in Sydney.

  Perfect to match up with a sit stand desk frame. EBay and Amazon have heaps of these. I did this but I got my top from Chairforce in Melbourne for a similar price (but rubberwood).

      Heh. Yep, but quite the opposite. It’s 3cm thick, 30kg and hard as a rock.

    I did the same thing!

    Got the Linak frame from ActivDesk, and the tabletop from Chairforce (rubberwood).

      Awesome. I got my frame from Lazy Maisons, I’m not that happy with it because it seems to seize up whenever I move it up or down. I’m going to write to them once I get over my covid.

  1,800 will fit diagonally in a std. 4x4 ute tray… it'll be a close one whether you can close the rear tailgate on a RAV4 CRV Xtrail that size vehicle w/ all seats down.

    I have put in a 1.8m ladder in RAV4, just need to forward the front seat a bit. 700mm should be ok if you tilt a bit.
