  • Thanks OP. Bought one.

  • Silly question. How to become a member?

Not a silly question - you need special access i.e. either via your work if eligible (for example Westpac employees get it) or some Super companies give this as a benefit to their customers etc. They're the two ways I know how, not sure about the others

  • Better or worse than the $20 40w Belkin charger that was listed just recently?

Different is the real answer. Different port, different charging protocols and use cases.

Maybe we can work the other way - what devices do you intend to use with the charger?

  • Signed up 2 weeks ago but they never call me for registration

Amazon Link so you can suss it before logging into TGGC - https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B09HZGSLY4

  • I thought the 108W one sold for 79 at Amazon occasionally, maybe wait for Black Friday if you can. But 81 is still a good price

    • sorry the lowest price for the charger is referring to the 37w charger. Have updated original post. Thank you.

Both of my 108W chargers have awful coil whine.

    • +3

Same here yes, can please ban posting this awful charger here? It's power density is not good, gets too hot and terrible coil whine charging both Apple Watch and high wattage stuff.

To be clear, I posted it myself, at the time didn't have one. Got one, major regrets.

This one is much better (albeit lower single port wattage) and if I am not mistaken, same manufactrer. (both says I.T.E. Power Supplies on them.)

      • any coil whine on the HOFFELC one? assume you own it.

Was going to buy it but not anymore thanks to the posters above.

I don't want any whiny coils in my room.
