I have a Samsung bot, was super expensive and I have to say it is a horrible unit. I wouldn't bother with another Samsung bot ever.

Pretty bad comments from Samsung website,

This looks like a lot of rebranded vaccuum bots at this price range. Got one of them at xmas - they were pretty poor. The battery life was good enough, but the dust it picked up wasn't that much, and it still filled up too quickly. Because of its poor navigation too, I had to "baby" it along whenever it got jammed or stuck - and at that point, I thought why bother instead of just doing it manually?

    • Did you put a hammer to it? I would hav.

      • probably on the cards!

Do not buy robot vacuums without a Lidar sensor. They're almost certainly an utter waste of money.

    • 100% this. The short version of why - they don't know where they are going, so when they mess up they are going to start from scratch again.

    • Im sure they are better but we have a 200 sqm home with floorboard and carpet that our basic Eufy no mapping does a decent job getting around on a single charge. No where near an utter waste of money. You just let it do it's thing and let it go over the same spot twice if it wants to.

    • I would say do not buy them without smart mapping. There are some VSLAM ones like the Dreame F9 that work pretty well without LiDAR.

  • Can vouch for this instead https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/722854

  • I owned it…I had a horrible experience. I do not recommend personally.

  • 3 month warranty.
