  • Seems a better buy than the 38 deal that was running a few days ago. Might get these and return the 38's.

  • So these are the Premiums, what is the difference between these and the non premiums?

    • +2

This has word "Premium" in it.

      • Hahaha so there is not different?

Opinion: I bought the 38's and I swear there was no engineering for a healthy sole shape. There's not enough sole in the middle at the inside edge, you impact on the outside edge then roll a little to get support but the support isn't there so you bear too much load on the front of the foot and heel. It was a disaster for me with plantar fasciitis.

I'm not good with the terminology thus explanation, sorry.

My podiatrist also laughed at the shoe if that adds any weight to what I'm saying.

Don't know if the 39s are any better but I won't be buying Nike again.

Maybe you bought the wrong shoe for your foot type?

      • +1

Sure did. I bought a Nike!

I don't think the 38 could be good for anyone. But it's an opinion based on the sole shape and being in pain within a few minutes. No doubt some people will run their whole life and never have an issue with any shoe, even clogs :p I'm not that lucky.

I run a lot and am susceptible to a number of ITB, Glute and Knee-related injuries and tightness in the area. Thankfully I discovered very early on that if you have sensitive feet/legs don’t run in Nikes. Every physio and exercise physiologist I’ve been to echoed the same thing

  • I'm so rude I just had these delivered today and didn't post the deal as figured only <$90 was a delay after some of the crazy rebel ones!
They look beaut in this color though.

    • didn't post the deal as figured only <$90

Pretty difficult to make sense of your first sentence. Are you saying you bought an exact pair of these shoes for < $90 from Rebel Sport?

      • +1

Based on the Rebel deals they thought it wasn't worth posting Nikes unless <$90

        • Yep sorry my typos didn't help! Correct I think they were under $90 recently at rebel :)
Nonetheless I grabbed 2 pairs of these as they do look good and fond memories of running in Pegasus a couple of years back.

          • @drprox:

Correct I think they were under $90 recently at rebel

            Was that in-store or online?

            https://www.rebelsport.com.au/p/nike-air-zoom-pegasus-39-pre…

I am seeing a price tag of $190 now, so I guess we all missed out?

            • @DoctorCalculon: I think the poster is talking about Peg 38's not 39's and probably combined with 10% gift card discount. I know this because I have recently bought 3 pairs of the Peg 38's from Rebel for $100 a pair ($90 with the discounted gift card).

I just find any Nike trainers with a large, raised Achilles tab very uncomfortable.
