  • difference between the 75t and 75 pro?

  • +3

I'm sure these have been heaps cheaper?

  • sound quality is awesome but they're hard to stay in place when doing exercises

  • i got it in prime deal for 125$

  • And if you can afford them, the Elite Pro 7 is a big step up.

    • I prefer the Elite 75t, personally.

I find the 75t more comfortable than the Elite 7 Pro, easier to get in/out of the case, connect more reliably, slightly more comfortable in the pocket, and I had less complaints about the microphone on the 75t.

      • Fair enough. I had the 75t and liked them. To me, the elite pro 7 is a slightly refined version on the 75t. For example, I like that I can use either the left or right ear solo.

  • Have these myself, great pair of headphones. Great sound and great when working out

  • I got them, great earbuds however unlike other earbuds only right earbud (master) works as single unit, left one is a slave so only works alongside when right is operating.

  • 4 active are $119 are these better? I thought 4 are newer version

    • These are excellent however the Elite 4 active is better :)

      • Thanks.
So why would someone buy these when they are still more expensive?

      • Looking at that rtings comparison, it seems to be an early one. It says they 75t doesn't have ANC, which it does via a firmware update later on. They mention this in their review for the Active Elite 75t. I'm not sure if there were any more updates.

I got the 75t's 18 months ago, they've been pretty good and survived going through the wash.

That said, the Elite 4 for $100+ less seems hard to go past, I'd probably save the money if I was buying now.

  • were goodish …. apart from the common issue whereby the left loses connectivity with the right, at which point you have to enact bizarre action sequences to re-establish connectivity….if you are lucky. the first time it happened i followed the various techniques outlined in this forum:

    https://www.reddit.com/r/Jabra/comments/eawon1/jabra_elite_7…

the 2nd time, i was not so lucky and the left was bricked, so back to the shop it went!

i will never buy a set of buds that do the master slave thing again

also i can confirm they do fall out often during very sweaty exercise (when sweat drips down from your head)

waiting for 85t to come on sale

    • Why not buy 4 active already on sale. Curious.

They don't connect with multiple devices..

        • oh thats a big 1. thanks

    • I have both, l don't think the 85t are much of an improvement over the 75t if at all. I generally reach for the 75t if they are next to each other.

      • Last time they were on sale .. they were 169.. so for $10 extra I think they are worth it

  • Thanks OP. I’m regretting not getting these when they were on special on Amazon. Managed to get the last pair from my local OW.

From what I’ve seen the 75t seems to be a sweet spot. I like that it has a button and the ones sans buttons are not the ‘active’ ones. The lack of a button is really a deal breaker. I want them for running(about 30km each week), calls and commuting.

I have the 65ts and they’re great. Also have the XM3s. XM sound better for music but the fit sucks and I don’t like its touch controls. 65t has a better mic and whilst its music sound quality isn’t as great, the fact it has a button and fits well means I prefer it.

I wanted another pair so I don’t chew through the 65ts. After seeing these comparisons I was sold on the 75t:

    Nah
    Audio-Technica ATH-CKS50TW

Bose would be awesome if they were loud like their speakers but yeah here we are. Jabra is great but distorted when bass kicks in

  • Cheers mate, managed to find a pair in wa.
