Hello again!

We have a nice deal on some Dell latitudes! Some powerful laptops with the i7-6820HQ being one of best quad core CPUs of that series! The laptops are HD screens but still make for decent cheap laptops for work or study. We do have a range of Dell models including 8th gen i5 and i7 models so plenty to choose from (Links below). The E5480 and E5490 both have dedicated GPUs as well so makes a decent light gaming laptop as well!

Also have a new batch of the super cheap OptiPlex 7040M as well at that very low price as well (Link below)

    My 14" Inspiron 640m from 2006 has a better 1440x900 screen, albeit it was an option.

    I just can't do less than that, and I'm the first person to complain about spec snobs. Not to mention the mismatch with having an i7 in this thing and still rocking that screen.

      Are you really expecting an answer? No businesses will divulge their cost price and willingly subject themselves to the backlash for their markup on Ozbargain

      They are likely ex-government or receivership/business liquidation stock and FuseTech likely bid on the stock, or has their foot in the door with the liquidator to give them first dibs. I'm going to guess that they paid $50-100 per unit.

        So yeah a lot is ex-IT asset stock, so there are middlemen always. But our job is testing, sorting , negotiation, promoting this great FusetechAU.

        However try double and then some for cost :(
        Our margins are never high, at the cost of wanting too provide the best prices possible! (And competing with these much bigger companies)
        So help out the little guys and we'll continue to give you some mega cheap deals

    Not a bad deal for the E5470 (Specs wise); if you don't mind maximum 1366 x 768 with the native screen or you're using an external monitor with it.

    Too many negative Nancies. Nothing wrong with the specs for the price. I'm using a 768 resolution on my current laptop. It's perfectly usable and better FPS in low end gaming. If I was in the market for a new machine I would be interested.

    Bit the bullet and bought a E5470 with 16gb DDR4 ram, good future-proof laptop which will hold its resale value should I need to upgrade years from now.

    OP, you might want to correct the title of this listing from Win 11 to Windows 10, the description and the listing itself say it's Windows 10 not Windows 11 :)

    The descriptions on the DELL LATITUDE E5490 webpage are a bit odd.

    At least the description of the CPU is wrong, and the dedicated GPU is not mentioned.

    Very tempted to buy the e5490 but get cold feet after reading the description.

        The E5480 description on the website also seems wrong. It states a 6 series CPU and integrated graphics but it's supposed to be a 7 series with GeForce.

          Now the CPU looks correct, but the graphics still states "Intel® HD Graphics 520" instead of "GEFORCE 930MX 2GB".
