honestly, kings have been doing some pretty competitive sales on their better-built ones with secop compressors and a 5-year warranty I bought one myself and have been very happy with it
i think there 60L was $299 or $399 from memory but it looks like a better fridge imo
Kings is cheap, but be careful. They can be quite… cagey when it comes to trying to solve warranty claims. To the point of having to threaten them with an ACCC report before they'd cough up what they have to.
Your milage may vary, of course, but that's been my experience.
I've bought a lot from kings this year and 20% of its shit itself but the fridges with secop look great and we've had one of the older versions in the work van for coming up to 6 years so I'm sort confident with their fridges
I won't be buying any more kings camping gear though I've had to replace/return so much this year but have never had any problems doing so
When it comes to electronic camping gear, I prefer better quality products than Kings. They tends to be rebranded mediocre-quality products which is nothing wrong for occasional camping, but they are built to the price.
I did buy one of Kings 65L secop-copy fridges for $299 delivered (paid with eBay GCs). Works ok, but it's only been a month. Build quality is cheap and very plastic. 10 Kg lighter than this 75L Companion one. Quite a big difference
Bought one their "premium" Stayzcool 45l fridges for just under $500, pretty impressed TBH. Compared to our Evakool FM70, much better temperature accuracy and regulation.
