I dunno if Pablo, International Roast or Bushells is Freeze Dried but it ain't Coffee… lol
There's spray dried coffee and freeze dried coffee. Spray dried is quicker and cheaper (spray hot water on beans to evaporate moisture). Freeze dried is more expensive and time consuming (freeze then remove moisture under vacuum), but results in a better product, retaining flavour and aroma better than spray dried coffee. Also, spray dried has poorer shelf life, as it needs a nitrogen atmosphere to prevent it from spoiling.
