We have some decent stock that the big boss has given the green light drop some prices. So the optiplex 3040 at an unbeatable low (and you get a free Keyboard big yes) so grab em while they're hot. 8GB and 128Gb makes for a great work or office PC! We also have the Optiplex 3050 option with DDR4 ram for an extra $10. We also have some drop in prices for upgrades to SSD and monitors so chuck in for a complete bundle for under $200!

      Hi,

      We don't charge extra ever for purchases. I believe what your referring too is a upgrade option but the total cost was not added to the total on the checkout page! So we adjust the invoice manually for you so you can pay the difference for the upgrades you selected.

        I placed an order, paid the invoiced amount. You contacted me quite some time later and asked for more money, then contacted me again asking for even more money. You explained the situation, I declined some of the upgrades and asked you to send me a revised invoice. You ghosted me and cancelled the order.

        Incompetence from end to end.

          3040 is the model of the computer, nothing to do with the GPU
          and yes to the 3xxx range, but none of those will fit into this computer

      You can install and run whatever you like on it, but don't buy it expecting to run games well.

    Hi OP. If I'm currently running the Dell Optiplex 3010, will I be able to swap out the hard drive from that model to this 3040 model without any issues? (i.e. is the hardware of the two models similar enough that the operating system and hardware will run seamlessly?)

      In my experience, If running Windows 10, it is usually forgiving enough to allow this and will redetect the new motherboard chipset and hardware. If Dell have a driver update App, install it and also let it check your system as there will be differences between the two. Do a windows update and also ensure you restat to allow new drivers etc once done. You will need to check device manager for any drivers missing.

      Personally though, I recommend starting fresh with a nice clean system and just reinstall any software that you may have. This way you know all is well. It will run faster with no hidden left overs from old OS.

    got the two b grade Dell laptops, one had a pretty bad hinge so useless that it has 360 function since it will just fall hard from gravity when it's below 30° or like above 170° quickly or smth like that. The other hinge a lot better, screen 1080p IPS way better than the piece of trash HP laptop i5-8250U I got for $898 without realising it's TN panel and 768p !! With $250 scam product care warranty from Harvey Norman lol
