      WARNING! Don't buy the one from The Good Guys its a different model.

      Miele Compact C1 is made in China. (Good Guys listed one) It used to be on sale last year for $169.

      Miele Classic C1 is made in Germany. (Sold at JBHiFi) was $199 Dec 2020.

      Miele C3 is made in Germany.

      China - Dongguan factory
      Established in 1996 as a joint venture with Melitta, the Dongguan plant has been fully owned by the Miele Group since 2009. Currently Miele produces the Swing H1, Compact C1, Compact C2 and Complete C2 vacuum cleaners here. This includes, for example, the production of plastic components through in-house injection moulding as well as assembly. As with vacuum cleaners from the Bielefeld factory, all motors come from Miele in Euskirchen. Approx. 330 employees manufacture about 500,000 vacuum cleaners per year at the Dongguan factory.
