look at the bright side, now you can use the sofa plus 1 kg of chips to reach the maximum load.
Divorce has been hard on me this last hour and a half. Gained 20kgs already. Another 2 hours and I'll be over maximum capacity.

This is unexpected. Going by Kirkland clothing and portion sizes, I thought Costco prioritised overweight form factors.

I have some Costco furniture around the house and the quality of those is reasonably good. Given it was priced at 1399 previously, I would expect the quality to be good as well. It’s marked down to 999 although the website doesn’t show it as a markdown.

It's marked as a "Last Chance" and got a .97c price tag so it's pretty much being cleared out from what I understand

If I don't have a Costco membership can I get a friend to buy me a gift card? I read that you can get entry with a gift card. What happens if your shop is more than the gift card value, can you just pay in? Anyone tried this?

I'm pretty sure this is the exact couch we bought, but we got two in brown from Costco about 6 months ago. Comfort is good (though if I lean back enough to really relax, the TV isn't high enough to watch.
Some of the leather cushion corners are looking a bit rubbed already, but we do use it for hours every day.
Also there is an issue where small things like phones can slide down a certain place and get stuck, you have to get 2 men to tip it onto it's front and remove some staples to retrieve.
But very solid and nice quality, for this price. Good luck to whichever state has any stock
May I ask how high your TV is and how thick your phone is?
It's actually a projector, so it covers the whole wall from top to bottom, but any TV not positioned right up against the roof means you can't recline back far enough for true sleepy relaxation.
I suspect most couches are the same, but I was hoping I'd be able to be totally relaxed and reclined quite a bit, and it can't quite do that.
Phone is around 8mm with case.

Yeah most couches like this (and this couch too, everywhere except the back side corners) if your stuff slides down between the cushions, you can easily get it from underneath.
But in those corners of this couch, it falls between some wooden bits and ends up in a pocket no hand can get into. You have to turn the whole couch over, carefully remove staples so you can replace them, and lift the leather lining to get in there.
My fire TV remote has been in their for weeks, since I'm lazy and just use the phone app instead.
Can you make a video when you take it out?

Note that it's not full leather, mixed with vinyl. 100%leather would cost 2k+.
The normal price is 2k+..
It's not "mixed", per se, it's leather on the bits your body touches, and matching vinyl on the back and sides.
