  • Not a fan of the colour. Also they had the speed 3 for $194 which was pretty good but looks like men's are sold out.

The iconic had the speed 3 for $155 two weeks ago and the $20 welcome discount or 20% birthday voucher reduced to $135 or $125. I picked up a pair of black gold and am massively impressed

      • Thats amazing deal đź‘ŤI got white ones but paid $220. Wanted that colour and not really widely available.

      • I got Shift 3 for similar price. Would’ve love the speed 3 for that price.

      • Are you a runner btw? These shoes have a really short lifespan.

        • Yeah the speed 3 will be my training shoes for most medium and all long runs and will save my vaporfly for race day only as they are starting to wear out after a couple of marathons and more than double that in training runs.

    • If you can find a good price, get the Speed 2 instead.
If you want a carbon plated shoe, get the Pro 3.

      • Good price isn't the issue. Finding one in your size is impossible.

        • Are these TTS.

          • @D3NI3D: What is TTS?

            • @Juggernaut1984: True to size

              • @benandfaith: I see ok. I would assume so. I have the Speed 2 and 3 new balance shoes and Nike. All are same size so stick to your usual US running shoe size.
Adidas is half size down from the rest for me.

                • @Juggernaut1984: I wear my normal size for Adidas. Only time is been long was in the Adidas Adizero Pro (not adios pro).

    Which man is wearing this?

    • -2

      A man with special pronouns

    • +1

      Sub 3 marathon men

    • +2

That’s some pretty fragile masculinity you got over there

      • -2

I know, right. Same reason I don't buy male lingerie. Fragile masculinity.

    • +6

Fit men who aren’t concerned with morons

    • -1

      Obviously men with super feel.

Otherwise, why would you bother to wear super shoes.

    • -2

One who thinks $350 shoes made of plastics will be worth spending that kind of coin on and in hi-vis pink too.

Nothing to do with woke masogonistic nonsense, it's just a hideous colour to walk around in.
      Make them white/grey/black etc. ffs.

      • +2

These are race shoes. No walking around in them.

Clear you haven’t ran in carbon plates before. Well worth the price.

        • -1

*run. And no, the materials are worth $25, carbon fibre is decades old tech, this is all cheap stuff.

  • I've got the pro 2 in the mail, $189 at running warehouse.

    • +1

In the same eye sore color?

      • I got the black and white checkerboard ones. I'll only wear them running so I don't really care what they look like.

  • This or the og alphafly for a little more?
Just a little more expensive in a similarly challenging colour for some on here
    https://www.nike.com/au/t/air-zoom-alphafly-next-flyknit-roa…
Lots of these on runners at the Melbourne marathon last Sunday and they actually look really good in the flesh, even on manly men.

    • I had the alphafly 2 and an air pod deflated which sucks.
Also look at the Adidas Prime X Strung if you have a neutral footstrike. Looks best out of all. I got a pair half size down US. Fits well. Seems very comfortable but I haven't taken them out for a proper run yet.

      • I have a pair of Adidas Adios pro 2. Love them. Can find them cheaper now as the new version is out.
