Belkin Boost Charge Pro 3-in-1 Wireless Charger with Magsafe 15W (Black) $154.36 Delivered @ digiDirect eBay

Having recently bought into the whole Magsafe ecosystem, I was trying to find the cheapest way to get one of these highly coveted Belkin Boost Charge Pro 3-in-1 Wireless Charger chargers. It's not clear yet whether this is the refreshed model with the higher speed charging for Apple Watch s7 and newer (model listing says WIZ009AUBK), but I figured as a bedside charging stand, it's less of a concern to me. I nearly bought it using Telstra Plus Points + cash but decided to research a bit further.

Note this is not the absolute cheapest as it has been $131 on Amazon once before, but otherwise the good deals seem to be around the $150 mark (relative to the $229 RRP). Watch out as there's quite a few 'refurbished' and 'open box' listings at around the $130 price point which seems suss. If you're looking for the white model, that was a much harder item to find and cheapest I could find (in stock) was $180.

I alluded to it in my post - I don't count open box or no-retail-packaging as comparable to a brand new in box/sealed package.

I bought the first one. It was clearly used and hence returned.

is the price correct or is it meant to be $15?

Plug them in and save yourself $154

bought one for me (black) and one for my wife (white) back in 2021 when Amazon had it for $131 each. Great unit, solid, reliable. It's nicely weighted, so it doesn't slide all over the surface you've placed it on when you take the phone and watch off. Is it worth about $100 more than a no name brand that is "magsafe compatible" - ie, has the magnet but the slower charging? That's really up to the individual. But for the discount I got, and even for this discount here, I would say it's worth it.

  • Got one as well and absolutely love it.

This is not the model with fast charging for Apple Watch 7 - that one is model WIZ017AUBK, which I confirmed directly with Belkin. Only Apple and JB Hifi carry it in Australia the moment.

      I charge mine overnight anyways.

  • There are now high quality eBay knock offs of this product. I’d just pay the $30 for the fake one.

    • +1

Got a link to these higher quality knockoffs please ?

      • I have a knockoff with a slot for the genuine MagSafe charger, and it’s great. The non-genuine (but looks authentic) MagSafe charger I got from aliexpress only outputs ~5W in the tests I did.

      • I’ve just ordered this one…
Magnetic Wireless Charger Stand, 3 in 1 Fast Charging Station for Multiple Device, Apple iPhone 12 Pro Max/Mini/12pro/airpods 2/pro/iwatch Series Compatible with Magsafe Case(Qc3.0 Adapter Included) https://amzn.asia/d/4RwiBqT

Seems well reviewed and half the price

      • not a 3-in-1 but this 2-in-1 from Anker seems reputable?

        • +1 for Anker. Their products have been super reliable.

          • @bindok: I just looked at the specs on this Anker unit. It says " - Provides 7.5W max charging for the iPhone 12 series and 5W max charging for AirPods. "

Magsafe (which the Belkin unit this post is about) can do 15W. I suspect an iPhone 13 or 14 will charge quite slowly on a 7.5W charger. It would work - but just take a long time.

I bought this one. It has some issues that are also on the Belkin one (watch tends to rotate around the holder and won’t easily stay vertical) and some which are unique to it. (It’s plastic so lifting the phone up lifts the entire stand with it because it’s so light).

I’m in UK right now and a quick check of the AU eBay site doesn’t show this exact one yet except for it you buy it from this bundle which is overpriced. https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/204087453988

Try a search from Australia and see if there’s someone shipping it in from China. If there isn’t yet then it’s probably coming soon enough.

  • If you’re looking to get this sooner, price beat this at OW with the following link to get it to $160.55

Stupid question, but does this work okay for non-apple or is not not recommended?

    I have Samsung s20, Galaxy watch 4, Jabra 7.

    Any recommendations for me?

    • For non apple there is no incentive to get something like this since it won’t have MagSafe for the magnetic connection or higher charging speeds for apple iPhones. Plenty of much cheaper alternatives (even from belkin).

For me personally I just use a cheap choetech wireless charging pad for my Z Fold 2.

  • I’m struggling to understand why I would want this when there are much cheaper ones that do the same thing?

    https://amzn.asia/d/3jGkWO9

I get that the Belkin one looks really nice, but is it really worth an extra $130?

There are people who shop at Hermes and there are people who shop at Strandbags. Where is the struggle? If you struggle to understand, you are not the targetted customer.

    • Mine arrived and I'm really enjoying it. It's not too tall, feels like a quality product to touch, is aesthetically pleasing, and is certified by Apple (vs many other stands which are just generic Qi chargers and/or require you to buy the Magsafe charger/Apple Watch charger separately and run the wires). There's also some anecdotal feedback that cheaper generic Qi chargers lose their effectiveness over time or exhibit some other fatal flaw with their utility vs the "quality" of the Belkin charger.
