Belkin is a reputable brand with Aussie certs. Where are you getting this impression from?
i have a few belkin items that say otherwise. never will i ever buy belkin again.
If you keep having problems, you might want to check your home. Maybe voltage fluctuations, faulty wiring or poor earthing.
@kungfuman: You're yet to mention which product(s), let alone provide a link for where you purchased from and at what time period. You seem like you care about safety so why not inform us on which products/models you have that are combusting? Surely you'd take a pic? Did you make a warranty claim?
@jenna12: Right?! Nothing to back it up, doesn't expand on what happened or which product it was… could have had 20 double adapter's stacked on one outlet for all we know.

Maybe @kungfuman's is Bellkin not the original BelkinOdd. I've been using the 6 outlet model of this powerboard for a few years without an issue.
It includes a $30,000 connected equipment warranty.
How does this rate against a CyberPower 8 Outlet on Amazon? Also an 8 outlet, has 2x USB-A. I bought some recently but I could return them because, Amazon. Much cheaper than this one though, $25 at time of writing.
Cyber power has a terrible reputation around here. I wouldn’t touch them.

Very old product. Weak usb ports i guess..
It's alright as a slow USB charger. I have one here and it charges my TCL 50 Pro NXTPAPER smartphone within a few hours.
i have one aswell, just pointing out the fact as warning some people need blazing speed charging
