Gigabyte AERO, 16" 4K OLED Gaming Laptop i7-12700H 16GB RAM 2TB SSD RTX 3070 Ti $3199 Delivered @ Mwave

Beautiful screen for content creation - might not be as good for gaming due to 4K resolution but should still be pretty good. There's a deal for a 3060 too for $2,999 but I don't see it as ever being worth it when the 3070Ti config is only $200 more expensive

  • game on a external monitor, and use the built in monitor for discord and web browsing while gaming, then this becomes a pretty good deal.

  • Be aware this model and the Aorus models have a problem opening the Control Centre, I had my Aorus back to Gigabyte who could not fix, told me to wait a few weeks, this problem has been going on for over 12 months.
I got a full refund from Scorptec who were very good handling it all.

  • yes sadly control centre on Gigabyte gaming laptops isn't great. I had issues with latest version of mine, had to roll back to previous version, the process wasn't fun but it was stable (with old bugs I already knew how to work around)

  • How does this compare to the Lenovo Legion series?

Not sure how one is supposed to respond to this… they're completely different laptops with completely different use cases. Legion is made specifically for gaming, this is made with a lot of content creation capability in mind. Use this laptop if you need to make videos, edit photos, whatever it is you do as it has the far better screen, but if you're after just pure gaming performance then the Legion is probably the way to go.

Thank you so much. I do game, but screen is more important to me.

        • I'm tending to agree with you. There's no point being able to game if your screen is shit lol
