    Expiry of protein?

    • +1

Would love to know expiry also

      • Me too.

    • +14

      AUG 2024 just asked

  • -1

    Serving size 37g, protein 27g per serve…

    • +11

      Seems normal for WPC.

  • +1

Any reviews ? I usually consume WPI but this looks to cheap to pass up…. Although the ingredients are abit iffy

Whey Protein Concentrate, Cocoa Powder, Taurine, Dextrose, L-Glutamine, Sodium Chloride, Chocolate Flavour, Xanthan Gum, Acesulfame potassium, Sucralose

    • Thats normal for most of the flavored whey protein from many brands.

    • +1

Taurine & L-Glutamine are there to boost the protein grams on the label so they can save money on actual WPC which is already dirt cheap compared to WPI. This will have lots of filler.

  • +1

The reviews on this page seem very interesting. three reviews on the same day and nothing else.

  • $14 delivery fee.

    • +1

      Free shipping for me.

    • Did you add the code? Was free for me.

      • +1

        added. Maybe only certain states.

        • What state you in? The original email didn’t suggest it was limited to certain states for free delivery but maybe they targeted the email to states where it was free.

          • +1
            • @kekw: Yeah. I got $14 for Darwin so will pass on the deal now i think.

              • @DarwinBoy: with shipping comes to $18 per kg, still not too bad.

                • @kekw: Ive still got plenty of musashi and that's about $21 a kilo on special and i prefer vanilla.
But i just bit the bullet when it come to $45 delievered to a town address.

    • If you go 2x1.48kg jars shipping is only $7 but that means the grand total is 54.93 so a bit better then the $63.

      • I managed to score 2x1.48 jars with free shipping to 0820. Not sure how!

        • +1

Im out berry springs way. I should of used the inlaws address to check that as well.

        • +1

I just did that as well to the inlaws in tiwi. $45 for the 2 jars though.

  • +3

This is not WPI. So update title of deal.
Bandito WPI is costly - https://www.aminoz.com.au/bandito-labs-whey-protein-isolate.…

    • Updated title.

    • +1

I'm seeing $39.95 for 1kg WPI - one bag, yes?

Where can you buy 1 x 1kg of WPI that is less than $40 ? Very curious.

    • Yes, apologies. Copy paste error

    • is the isolate better?

      • +1

isolate is good if you have lactose intolerance and/or want that slightly lower carb, lactose and fat to each gram of protein but it is more costly than whey, which is processed less but you end up paying less too, to each their own

    • Costly compared to what? The 10kg bags seem quite affordable with subscribe and save ($358, or $35.80/kg)

  • +1

I get a lot of emails from them… but didn't get this one. Will try it out.

    • And… I just got the email received 6:14pm today.

PS. This is a crazy below-cost clearance and we expect this to sell out quickly. We have a strictly limited quantity for this promotion.

  • -3

This is not a standard WPC product. WPC means 80% protein and over 90% can be called WPI. CHEAP RUBBISH BETTER AVOID.

    • +1

What do you mean this is WPC..
      Ingredients
      Whey Protein Concentrate

27g per serving suggested of 37g

      • -1

That’s ~73% protein which is quite low, even for WPC.

        • +2

          i mean for $40 3kg isn't that a deal?

        • +1

why is the specific concentration so important?

let's say you want 30g of protein, can't you just add a few grams more powder and drink it?

          • -1

@xrailgun: Probably something about fillers etc etc.

            • -1

@tlai: so the issue is that the other ~25% are bad for your health?

        • +3

I think it's normall for WPC. BN is 74.4% Myprotein is 75%

          • @tlai: wrong. myprotein 82%

            • +1

@witchery: Believe what you want. I am holding 2 impact whey protein from myprotein in front of me.

              • @tlai: Unflavored for myprotein is 82%. The unflavored for the amino z WPC is 80% and the chocolate coconut is only 69%.

So if you want high percentage don't get a terrible flavor and get plain. I actually enjoy the amino z wpi unflavored taste. It's like a really creamy milk.

        • +2

I see alot of WPC at 24g with suggest serving 30g

  • -7

Read the label and do your own search. This not either a WPI or a WPC product. You need to avoid any protein powder products protein content blow 80%. This one 73% way below WPC standard. TRASH COMPLETELY. Protein content for a good WPC product normally 80-82%. WPI 90-99%.

    • +2

what's going to happen if we drink this "TRASH" 73% protein that's ~1/5 the price of the "good" 82% protein?

      • +1

I'd say just drink 30g per serve of this, also it contains taurine which is nice

      • +1

        You might lose a bicep.

        • +1

          Not with creatine and peanutbutter

        • +3

          world's first -1 biceps incoming

    • +2

Unless you're completely macro conscious it dosent mean sh*t all to the normal non calorie counter.

  • +2

Had a chat with them. Expiry is Aug 2024.

  • Good deal thanks

  • +1

    Ingredients:

Whey Protein Concentrate, Cocoa Powder, Taurine, Dextrose, L-Glutamine, Sodium Chloride, Chocolate Flavour, Xanthan Gum, Acesulfame potassium, Sucralose. (Milk)

    • +2

Not sure why would they add dextrose and sucralose. This gonna be one sweet protein shake.

      • I think they said this is for people who can't take Stevia so they are using 'natural sweeteners'

      • I'm guessing they use the dextrose for a more natural sweet taste as it's a type of sugar, and then the sucralose is to boost it a bit rather than using more dextrose (more calories)

      • dextrose is used for post-workout recovery. check out dextrose gummy bears

Anyone in Brisbane want to go thirds in a 3 x 1kg order? $13.30 for a bag. I'm in Garden city area

    • Count me in, don't fancy the idea of getting 3kg alone just for it to taste like ass. I'm based in the city but I go out to sunnybank all the time.

    • +1

Hi - count me in as well.

I've already placed an order, am based in Newstead.

      • Nice, can I meet & pick up from you? Gasworks?

        • Of course, send me a PM and I'll keep you posted once it arrives

    • I'm in moorooka and have ordered 3x bags if anyone wants a single bag

  • creatine or pretin better??

    • Protein is necessary

    • Do you even lift bruh?

    • both, for creatine just get cole's house brand

      • +2
        • yep. a bit sus how they're permanently at other brands' "great deal" pricing levels… but I don't know enough to avoid them…

  • +2

    Wish it was unflavored.

  • +2

For $40, I will take my chances. Protein content is on par with Musashi 100% whey so I don't know what all the commotion is about. Yes, neither are top quality protein but not all of us are preparing for bodybuilding competition.

    • +2

Speak for yourself mate, I've been bulking on KFC for years now.

      • Forever bulk

    • +2

The amino acid spiking is artificially pumping the protein numbers so it is probably closer to 60% actual protein. That combined with the fact that its not available anywhere else on the internet and has no reviews outside of the amino-z ecosystem, its incredibly suss. You get what you pay for.

      • It's their own brand lol.

Where do you get this Amino Spiking from?

        Any evidence?

        • +1

It's right there in their ingredients list

          • @[Deactivated]: Just like the several statements about them manufacturing this themselves…

Weren't you the guy talking about KFC

Nekkminit u r all serious? Lol

            • @nismo: You asked a question, I answered. Nekkminit u r all butthurt? Lol.

I'm not saying it's trash that shouldn't be consumed, but a quick Google would tell you exactly what Kill Joy is getting at.

Bandito Labs 100% Whey Ingredients: Whey Protein Concentrate, Cocoa Powder, Taurine, Dextrose, L-Glutamine, Sodium Chloride, Chocolate Flavour, Xanthan Gum, Acesulfame potassium, Sucralose. (Milk)

BN WPC Ingredients: Ultra Filtered Whey Protein Concentrate (WPC), Flavouring, Sweetener (Sucralose).

              To quote SlavOnion D Y O R

P.S. I bought a fewpacks as I figured you can't go wrong at this price.

              • @[Deactivated]: I use Hydrolyzed WPI mainly which is 30g protein suggested 33g but the average gym junkie knows this 3kg of WPC even if watered down a little is still a good bargain!

  • +1

I have no doubt you are bulking up - with fat LOL

    • +3

      Das the joke mah man

      • +2

        I know mate. All good.

  • +1

    Anyone tasted it?

    Always a concern lol

  • +2

    3kg for $40, yeah I'll take a punt.

  • On backorder now, 2 weeks delay.

    • Is the party over? The code doesn't work for me anymore

      • Accepted it for me just then in cart but I didn’t check out.

        • +1

I spelt protIEn wrong like an idiot. Cheers

  • +2

An error occurred while making the transaction. Please try again. (Error message: Do Not Honour)

  • Does anyone know the lactose/100g of this stuff?

I want to buy it, but don't want my toilet to hate me….

  • Their Aminoz range of protein has been good in the past. $13 a KG for protein these days is hard to beat. Surely they can't mess up chocolate flavour.

    Goodbye testicles
