Oneplus 8T upgrades?

  Highly recommend the OPPO find series. I had come from 5 different Oneplus devices and found OPPO to be just as good if not better (they are owned by the same company). I moved to the Find X3 Pro and besides the lack of alert slider, its basically the same experience.

      No worries. I was a bit hesitant moving from Oneplus but I am so happy I did.

      One thing I didnt realise I was missing in my life is the 65w SuperVOOC (aka DASH/WARP) charge on the X3. I no longer charge overnight now. just plug it in when I wake up and by the time I'm ready to go (20mins), its fully charged. Much better for battery longevity/health

        Yeah my 8T also has 65W charging and it's super convenient, it was a huge reason why I was tossing up between a Oneplus or Oppo upgrade as their one of the few flagships that have such fast charging

        it's one one of those things that now I have it I can't live without haha!

          @MrPariah: also one good thing about the parent company owning these brands, the fast chargers work across all the brands. so VIVO, OPPO, OnePlus, Realme fast chargers are interchangeable. so if you come across a good deal on a Realme (the budget brand) charger, it will work on your OPPO.

            @Bloodfart: How is the 5G connectivity of your Find X3 Pro? Is it consistent?

              @MrPariah: No issues in Aus. I also spend half the year in Manila and have not had issues with 5G unless I am in an area with known 5G black spots

  I moved from the Oneplus 7T, which I loved. I was tired of not being able to trade in phones when a new one came out. So I caved and bought the Oppo Find X5 Pro from JB HI FI. Can 100% say it feels like I am using a Oneplus phone. The phone is lighting fast and the camera is a massive improvement and finally having an Aussie Charger is a dream (its the little things!) All the Volte, Vowifi and 5G working flawlessly. If you are dead set on the Oneplus there is a dedicated store which sells them here in Aust, the Global version which should work on all carriers.     Hey thank you so much for your reply! Good knowing that the Find X5 Pro is a solid upgrade I'm not super desperate but it's such an attractive phone plus on Aliexpress you can find it for just over $1k, do you mind if you could give the details of the store? Would love to snoop through the website and maybe shoot a few questions to them! Not entirely dead set on the Oneplus 10 Pro but the battery life, charging speed and camera are pretty attractive!
