  I have Swan cameras and they a great. Swan have been around for a while not sure about new brands. I suppose if they wanted too they could see me mowing my grass but I’m not too worried about that either. They do have there privacy policy. https://au.swann.com/privacy-policy/

  Which does say they don’t share or record any “data” from there Apps but not sure about the control unit it self. I am pretty sure you can just have it record information to your home unit and not connect it to the internet. Mine is hard wired so that might be the way.

      I got a script that uploads everything to an s3 bucket. It’s event based, videos are never lost. Anything older than a month gets deleted.

      You don’t know what Ring is doing with your data.
