What does one use a 2nd phone for?
Genuine question. I have only ever used/had one phone at a time. What's the advantage of having a second phone? (a spare?)

I have 3 phones.
My "main phone" is a OnePlus 5T with my personal SIM in it, use it for general web surfing / reddit / facebook / instagram etc. doesn't really matter if my battery drains too much on it.
My "business phone" is my Samsung S7 which has my business SIM in it, being self employed I find it better to have a phone dedicated purely to work calls/texts so I don't have to worry about things running on my personal one draining the battery too much, being on the phone for hrs takes a big chunk of your battery and it's better to have a phone that's in battery saver mode to really trim down on background app usage.
My 3rd phone is an iPhone X. I bought it off eBay cheap since it has someones iCloud account signed in that he lost access to so I can't sign out of iCloud to sign in as myself but the app store isn't locked down so I just use it with my personal account on the app store. I use this phone for taking photos and playing 3D games on, it's got a really nice camera & screen compared to my other phones and battery standby life is great. This one is kept on airplane mode and only used with wifi to upload the photos and to play some 3D games like CoD mobile. Basically just my play around phone in place of a handheld game console but also the camera I keep on me.
It can be handy to have 2 phones for doing hungry jacks shake n win without having to sign out/in two accounts or for maccas rewards sometimes you will get different vouchers.

and some have NFC and some don't.
It's difficult to tell, unless the seller confirms this,
because different regions got specific exclusions,
but even then, there were some Global stock that didn't have NFC either.
