Two free Ultima games - old but some people may want to reminisce. They are free to mark the start of the gog.com "Battle Of the Games", where you can vote on games to get 40% or 60% off each day for the next few weeks.

      Never said it wasn't a freebie. Neg suggests its not really a 'bargain' if its free ALL THE TIME. Should've only being included in the FORUMS

        If something was not free before and suddenly becomes free then it's a bargain, expiry date or no.

  I believed these were only free for one day because there was a timer counting down, but just watched the timer count down for the end day 1 of their "Summer Promo" and it seems the games are still free. Only just made so today, however, but glad to be corrected.

  Awesome. Used to play Worlds of Ultima: The Savage Empire, and I think I still has the box somewhere, alone with the floppy disks. Thanks OP.

  I freakin' love Ultima. These two games were hard to come by before now, (legally anyway).
  I saw Savage Empire in a salvos once for $4, complete, awesome condition, but it was the PC-98 or the Sharp version. So my teenage brain at the time said "Oh that won't run on your computer, leave it here". In the words of Kuni (UHF) "STUUPID!".
