I find your username concerning :p

    • +3

I came here to write exactly that!

your user name checks out, too, BTW

    • +1

      Apparently inatoe was taken.

    • +3

      It's a weird one that's for sure.

      • +1

        Mmhmm… not taking the bait

    • +1

Do not be concerned. I like it.

    As someone that owns
    https://www.lego.com/en-au/product/lego-nasa-apollo-saturn-v…

Surely that's $169 better spent. Just my opinion.

    • +2

That's 14+ rated - not much use for younger kids who could build this 7+ set.

      • +3

Genuinely built it with my 5 year old and he did plenty of the critical parts of the build. Get your point though for sure.

        • my 7 year old built under supervision and played with it
old space rocket launcher way better as well lego 60080 much better space ship

      • +1

But two 7+ kids combined together reaches the 14+ threshold!

    • That is a better set for sure, but is it as swooshable as the city one?

      • +2

Trust me, I’ve swooshed models larger than both

    • Any deals on this? The latest ozbargain ones are from years ago.

      • Problem is it's one of their 'rare' ones, so I watched them for years and basically it's almost never a bargain. Think you'll see them asking quite a bit more on eBay. To be fair, does fall in and out of stock a lot on Lego site. Sometimes it's out of stock for what seems like many months as well.

Edit: Actually think that's an awesome price available now $150.99 eBay Plus with current code they are running for $25 off purchase over $150. To think it's $20 more than this most, I find that amazing. Apples and oranges I know, but still.

        • +1

          How are you getting $150.99?

          • +1

@vee_el: Tates is the store. When you click through with eBay Plus there is a $25 voucher available. I'll send the link to you privately just in case

    • good deal for nearly twice as many parts

      • As mentioned above saw it just now in eBay for $150.99 delivered (Plus Members) $20 more than this deal , depends what buyer is after but wow. The Saturn V was a great build even for the 5 year old (high degree of supervision but that just made it way more of a bonding experience)

  • Thanks got one for my kid

    • +8

For your kid…yeah sure you don’t have to be shy here 😜

      • +1

        Hahahah i love space!!

  • Lego is getting more expensive overall but I wonder if the RRP for this has been set too high.

    • Previous space sets of similar size were similar rrp and you wouldn't buy them until similar discount

  • brilliant - tyu

  • +2

honestly this set looks like a revised version of 60228, with slightly high parts count/ minus track and increased RRP.

  • Would probably fly better than the real SLS.

  • “Product details
    Brand LEGO
    Manufacturer minimum age 84”
Must be a great demographic age group target.

  • Any deals on Kim's favourite; the LEGO City missile launch centre?
