Cost left off in your haste Luke

  • +10

So techfast that the price is missing

  • +3

    My guess is $699

  • +1

No price? Guess it’s free then

    • +2

      I like ur enthusiasm 🤣

  • +5

    $799 - just tested.

  • Rookie mistake in the title from a veteran dealer. SMH.

  • +10

Fun game of 'The Price is Right' here

  • Hey Luke, you don't have any budget ITX builds by any chance do you?

    • +11

Budget and ITX generally don’t go together

      • +1

Yeah… I really need to give up on this idea. Or just keep living in denial I suppose

        • +1

Budget ITX sounds too budget.. xd
          Whats wrong with budget mATX?

        • +1

It’s not impossible but you’ll need to build it yourself. Any system builder will either not have them or will charge a premium.
I’ve built some budget ITX systems from bargains and used parts but you’ll need patience waiting for them to appear

        • +1

just go Micro ATX, much more options and cheaper,

    • They generally don't do any ITX builds, from memory of previous requests like this…

  • +1

Wondering if TF will be interested to introduce the Asrock B660 PG Riptide or MSI B660 Motar Max Wifi which enables 12th Gen non K overclocking?

  • +1

Someone new managing Techfast, give them some time to adjust homies! Also a free price is right game? That was awesome, we should be thanking Caleb.

  • +1

Hey OP, any 4090 rig deal?

    • +2

Not at this stage, we are selling just the card as a pre order right now.

      • I don't suppose you can still get any LGA 1151 to go with an 8600?

  • I got quite interested when I saw "Pre-Order Gainward Phantom RTX 4090 24GB Graphics card $2799"… I thought that would be for the whole PC.. :(

    • +1

      Lol

    • Why is it so expensive? It must be an awesome card or something right? Or is it due to lack of supply?

Haven’t followed PC news in ages.

      • Not a lack of supply, thats just the price nowadays for a 4090. Blame nvidia for the price

      • +3

It is an awesome card but also overpriced.
It's actually (at least partially) due to an oversupply of the last gen (RTX30-series) cards. The price of the RTX 4090 has been set high just so customers will still consider last gen

      • This is why: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=15FX4pez1dw

Another OzBargainer posted this recently, unfortunately I cannot remember their username (sorry!)

        • No one should reward Nvidia for their nonsense. Their pricing in Australia is so ridiculous that unless you really need DLSS or RT you’re likely better off with Radeon.

  • +4

    Dear TechFast

can you create a deal that gets voted over 300+…? ie a deal that wows ozbargainers?

    • +1

      the ozbargain special box
      - limited edition -I guess quantity would have to be over 50 boxes to get around with limited stock,

  • just curious, how many fps I should expect with this PC when playing Fortnite in full hd?

  • +5

Not sure why the price was not showing in the title. Seems to be working now. For all of your confirmation this is $799.

    • A little bit off topic Luke, but my nephew ordered a pre-built pc almost 3 weeks ago and it is still currently in the build phase when advised it will take 2 weeks. Customer service difficult to get a hold of

      • +1

        Hi there,
Please DM your order details and I will look into this.

  • +2

Any news on another 3060ti build?

  • is this a good pc to play overwatch 2 and halo infinite? cod mw 2?

    • +1

Should be fine. Nothing higher than 1080p though.

      • +1

Depnds on the game, if we are talking about 1440p on ultra/highest settings, then only some games will do well, others might need to lower settings, otherwise not lowering can get you an average of around 40+ fps on ultra settings, again depends on the game.

  • -1

feel like I saw a few 3070 builds for under $1k which would be much better to get than this

    • +2

U sure? there are builds with a 1660s that cost at least 1k. Best deal i've seen is a 3060ti build for only 1.1k.

  • +5

Hey OP, any deals for 3080/3080ti builds on the horizon? Keen for a 4K gaming build.

    • +1

      Seconded
(Preferably team blue, that free mw2 offer is still on yeh?)

      • +1

        thirded

  • +3

As always Luke, respect to you, the replies you give and the deals you have done over the last 2 years.. i cant imagine with all the BS thats been happening… you guys have held strong and done some awesome deals through out. Any 3080/3080 TI builds left? if so fire away im ready to pull the trigger. All the best.

    • +1

      As above, 👍🏻 Also keen

      • +4

        Hi Guys,
Thank you for the kind words.
No 3080/ti deals at this current time, but should have something coming in the not too distant future.
        Cheers, Caleb

        • +2

See you in the bit too distant future.

        • Any 3080/Ti PCs for November 2022 or Black Friday 2022 planned yet?

  • @luketechfast

I'm thinking about giving an old GPU (RX480) a new home from it's current ancient one (Sandy Bridge build). Any chance of shipping this without a GPU? If so, what would the price drop to?

    • +1

      Hi mate,
Unfortunately, we can't ship partial builds.
      Cheers, Caleb

  • How much might the parts vary by? Im not sure about the "brand/model might vary"

    • Techfast seem to have a blase and non-committal approach to their own inventory. Before purchasing I'd be asking for precise details on brand/model, just as any other business let's you know what you're buying. Then you can do some research and get their commitment that they will supply those components.

  • Anyone have any experience with machines for golf simulators, in this case the golf sim is a GCQuad. Thanks.

  • luke m8, can you do 3080ti with r7 built pls

  • Hey, are there any 3080 pre-built deals available, thanks

  • Will definitely purchase one of these early next year if similar specs and price are still around

  • anybody got this graphics card and is playing overwatch 2?

can you share your frame rates and settings?
would like to know frame rates at 1080p low settings

  • Would this be any good for video editing. Sometimes 4k but mainly HD.
Use Magix Video Pro X 11 and PowerDirector 365
Use Dell 9020 and Dell T7500 at the moment but want something for faster render.

  • why not use a rx 6600 instead cheaper and better?
